I saw them in 2008 open for the New Pornographers. They were touring The Stage Names and they were incredible. Charles Bissell from the Wrens was playing with them. They played the best songs from Black Sheep Boy and almost the whole Stage Names album. One of the best shows I've ever been to. The New Pornos were

I like Suburbs more than Neon Bible, but that's not a bad assessment. Funeral is head and shoulders above the next two which are both pretty good. Reflektor is a mess and not in a good way like Sandinista! for example. It's a shame because there's a bunch of interesting ideas there, but it has by far their most

Exactly, spending a shitload on defense and gutting "entitlements" isn't fiscally conservative. Especially when they propose cutting taxes and not paying for it. At least Democrats want to fund the programs they support.

War Games

Empire Strikes Back

I agree. I rolled my eyes after too many scenes this season. The complaints about the score from everyone are dead on. And having Chloe in the final scene in the field with the baby felt unearned. I never bought their connection as a couple that would warrant such a prominent scene in the finale.

1. Merriweather Post Pavilion
2. Strawberry Jam
3. Sung Tongs
4. Feels
5. Water Curses EP
6. Fall Be Kind EP
Everything else of theirs I can take or leave, usually leaning towards leave. But these above I fully endorse.

When your gut is doing somersaults because you're about to let her off the hook and give her the divorce she clearly wants the last thing you want to do is eat a muffin!

I love that song

The whole idea of how bullets and whatnot work in the park is still a pretty gaping plot hole if you ask me. The confederales are mowing down a traincar with a machine gun that's clearly destroying the side of the train. Supposedly these bullets can't hurt guests?

Leave Home and Open Your Heart are so great. They began to lose me a little with where they went after those two. Excited to hear this.

Here and Nowhere Else is just as good. Love both of those albums.

** Spoiler for 9 year old movie **

No, she played the school girl that Ewan McGregor hooked up with. Different from the other character who was a junkie and had the baby taken.

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are cool, but that redneck Apple Jack with her Hee-Haw accent has got to go.

Just watch it without trying to figure out what's going on. The overall vibe of the move is fantastic. The dark undercurrent of cults and Manson that runs through it is great. Once you realize Joaquin Phoenix's character is just as confused as you are it helps.

Hell yeah. "Fox on the Run" bitches
