If you're going to include M83 then Caribou deserves the C spot. Up in Flames, Milk of Human Kindness, Andorra. That was all before he got more dance oriented and their live show is definitely a "rock band."

Not a fan of that at all. The Ben Gibbard vocal stylings were really obnoxious.

SPOILERS…. What annoyed me was the lame "Home Alone" business where the kid starting using his home made weapons and the tripwire on the stairs to battle his mom. That was all pretty stupid. Then he's yelling "You're not my Mom!" at her, then she pukes out the Babadonk. That was all pretty bad. I thought it was

If only Watch ESPN would do the same thing. That's the only think keeping me with cable now. Well, except for 19 Kids and Counting.

My theory is Matt's brother the filmmaker is a total fucking idiot and just filmed whatever he could during his time on tour and had zero ability or intelligence to edit it into what the film ended up being. The wife was co-editor and I think she is the brains behind the whole thing.

Elvis Costello - Oliver's Army
The Temptations - I Can't Get Next to You
The Men - Cube
Alice in Chains - Got Me Wrong
Daft Punk - Crescendolls

Elvis Presley - Return to Sender
The Black Keys - Brooklyn Bound
Camper Van Beethoven - Turquoise Jewelry
Yo La Tengo - Beach Party Tonight
Fever Ray - Triangle Walks

He was great in No Way Out and obviously Bull Durham as well.  It's amazing he made this in 1993 because in 1990 he made Dances with Wolves and it was downhill fast from there.

She already knows Shoshanna

Agreed, the Little Joy album is awesome.  I might actually listen to it more than any of the Strokes albums.  I've always wondered if the dude that sings other group Los Hermonos is any good.

Isn't the Boardwalk Empire opening credits a BJM tune?

The Body, The Blood, The Machine is one of the best punk/rock albums of the 2000's.  Probably only eclipsed by McLusky Do Dallas.  For you dorks out there that like Green Day, give it a listen.

I loved the book.  I wish Alex Garland still wrote novels.  The movie was a turd, however.
