I guess an even better example might be Blade, I was a Marvel kid in the 70's and 80's, and I had never even heard of him when the movie came out, so the general audience must have been completely in the dark. Guardians of the Galaxy is another one, I had heard the name of course, and they probably popped up in the

A few years back, I saw the musical comedy version of Silence of the Lambs, it was so funny! I would love to see that made into a movie, with Megan Montgomery, the actress that played Clarice in the version I saw.

My thought is that she’s very well known in Atlanta, driving by herself, without any security, to an out of the way filming location could be dangerous, some nut might pull a Misery style situation on her. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect some kind of security detail.

I’ve had a Nashville Hot Chicken cauliflower sandwich at a local restaurant awhile back that was pretty good. I would try this, but I bet it costs even more than their chicken, which is really expensive for chicken tenders. It is good enough for me to pay that occasionally, but I can’t see my way to paying that, and

Back in the 90's, my stepmother said there was a guy at the Footlocker in the mall that looked just like Eddie Murphy. I thought she was exaggerating. I was there one day, from behind I heard, “can I help you”, I turned around and was staring at Eddie Murphy! He really did look like his twin, down to the mustache and

I read about that incident, but with more details, one of the producers was so mad at her about her obstinance, he made sure she wasn’t invited to the premiere. She did end up going as someone’s date, and that producer was really upset that she was there. It sounded to me like she might have been blackballed because

Sonic actually did have a pretty solid Chicago Dog a few years back, discontinued now. Full disclosure, not from Chicago, but have had them there, from street vendors. I also don’t like relish or tomatoes, so mine is always modified.

I don’t think there’s really a celebrity that is the official, government declared, national treasure. It’s pretty much what people call a celebrity they really like, if there really was one, it would probably be Tom Hanks. I don’t know if Katt would make my pick, but he is one of my favorite comedians.

Back then Starsky and Hutch was the second most badass show on tv, the first being S.W.A.T. of course. He and Glaser had great chemistry together, good memories.

When Tarantino was thinking about making his Star Trek movie, Patrick Stewart very publicly said it was one of his dreams to work with Tarantino, and he would be up for it. Personally, I would love to see a Tarantino Star Trek.

Love Katt, but just for the record, I don’t know about Tubi, but Cedric does have a special on Netflix right now, Katt has two.

Seems like I remember reading that it’s going to streaming.

Honestly, the food would have to be really amazing for me to be subjected to religious music for the duration. Same goes for Fox News, I had my food packed up to go once because they wouldn’t change the channel or turn the volume down (I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time). Maybe if I was with someone

We still have several in OKC, the chicken is good, but what I really love is their spicy seasoning, Lotta Zing. They sell it by the bottle, I put it on almost everything.

Doesn’t sound like we’re disagreeing really, I would have loved it if someone like Lindolf had gotten the director’s chair for the movie, but every pitch I’ve read about was updating it to modern day, which completely changes the story, or just turning it into an Schwarzenegger movie. Snyder at least got the

I think making Superman Returns a direct sequel to the Donner Superman was one of the best parts. I’m pretty sure most kids that are interested in seeing a Superman movie have probably seen at least the first two Christopher Reeve movies. It’s not like they were making a direct sequel to Superman and the Mole Men, the

You could easily make the story go that way, but the fact that Manhattan seemingly attacked the U.S. and Russia at the same time is him declaring himself completely independent, and he will do what he wants. I think you could take the story in either direction and it would make sense. Worked for me anyway.

Yeah, Snyder’s take on Clark’s parents is just fruit loops, Martha Kent’s whole “you don’t owe these people anything” pep talk is kind of sickening.

I loved the HBO show, and I think that’s what most of us wanted, it’s not a story that you can really do justice to in a two hour or so movie. That’s why I’m ok with Snyder’s movie, they were going to make a movie one way or another, and all the filmmakers that pitched wanted to update it to be about the war on terror

Maybe you didn’t include it because the full sketch isn’t available on youtube, but the Gilda Radner/Jane Curtain Mommie Dearest sketch belongs on the list.
