Holy cow, that square jawed guy was Stephen Hill?! When I read that he was in MI, I was wondering why they didn’t include any pictures of him.

Ok, after reading this article, I was curious, so I just got back from lunch at Subway. I got the garlic roast beef, I don’t know if the slicing really makes that big a difference or if they’re using higher quality roast beef than they used to, but holy shit that was a good sub! I might even have it for dinner again

The rotisserie chicken is ok, but man, that roasted chicken breast is so rubbery, and the grill marks look like they were drawn on with a sharpie. I remember back in the 90's, and early 2000's, they had a decent piece of chicken breast, then switched to whatever those little slabs are.

To be fair, that is the most loving thing you can do with a child.

I think Twin Peaks has pretty good food, they’re really good to veterans, we get 20% off of everything on the menu except booze, Monday-Friday, and 50% off Saturday and Sunday. The best part, on Sunday, there’s no after church crowd. Well, not usually, on one Easter Sunday, I did see a family having their Easter

Not true, Kevin Sorbo has been in talks to play MLK.

The last Bond movie I saw was Casino Royale, Craig was fine, no problem with him, it’s just that I realized that I don’t think I’ve truly enjoyed a Bond film since I was about 14. They’re not bad movies, they’re fine for what they are, but I started to feel like I was just seeing them out of habit. I guess I’m just

And when he is cast in the MCU, it’s freaking Heimdall! Kevin Feige has done a great job, but that was a huge mistake, you have Idris Elba, you find a bigger role for him than that. He was a great Bloodsport for DC, but again, not a character anyone really cares about.

Well, sure, but Batman is still called a superhero.

I didn’t think it was any dumber than a lot of things that happened in all the other sequels to the original. I guess it’s a hot take, but I really only liked the original, it was a great movie that happened to have some cool stunts, but the sequels were cool stunts with a movie wrapped around them.

Boxing Helena is my go to for him as well, loved Arachnaphobia when it came out, but I don’t remember him being in it, guess I need a rewatch. I also remember him for a part he didn’t play, when I used to cast Watchmen in my head, he was always one of my top picks for Ozymandias, him and Jeremy Irons of course.

I love the breakfast pizza, it’s not something you can generally get at other places.

I doubt she would relish the thought of arguing with him.

It’s a taco.

I don’t live in Chicago, so maybe this wouldn’t fly for locals, but I love them, I just order them without relish or tomato. I have ordered them there that way, I think it’s ok to modify it to your taste.

I don’t know, if somebody creates a costume as iconic as Spiderman’s, I think they deserve co-creator credit, that has to be a pretty high percentage of the characters success.

That conversation was transcribed in Marvel the Untold Story, and I have since heard it on youtube, I didn’t think the conversation went to hell at all, they both seemed to enjoy talking to each other. I wouldn’t say Stan accused him of not reading the comics, Kirby said he used to write dialogue in the margins, and

I feel like he did acknowledge them a lot, at least he did in the 70's, when I was a kid reading Marvel. The only reason I knew Ditko and Kirby’s names was because Stan wouldn’t shut about how brilliant they were. Jim Shooter said that he had asked Stan and Jack separately what percentage of credit they deserved, and

I know he’s kind of a jerk, but John Byrne needs a mention, I think that a good chunk of what they’re adapting now is from the Claremont/Byrne era. Frankly, it’s the only era I really like, when Byrne left, it just became misery porn.

We don’t hate Schumacher, we hate Batman and Robin, and are annoyed by Batman Forever. But it wasn’t really his fault, the studio wanted it to be more lighthearted and family friendly. Hate Schumacher? On the contrary, how could we ever hate the man who gave us Lost Boys?
