That was kind of my point, it was the 60's, we’re lucky that they went with an actor that wasn’t lilly white to begin with, but it’s the 21st century, give an Indian actor a break and hire him for one of the most iconic villains in Science Fiction history, that also is supposed to be Indian anyway.

The whole trying to keep Khan a surprise twist was ridiculous. Cumberbatch is great, but Khan shouldn’t be a British white guy, Naveen Andrews would have killed that role. It’s an iconic, juicy villain role that actually calls for an Indian actor, and they get the whitest man on the planet to play him, still salty

Especially weird since DiCaprio is still in it, with a decent sized part. And not just him, Robert DeNiro and directed by Martin Scorcese. Brendan Fraser too, but I know he was cast before the Fraseraissance.

Jennifer Connelly as Betty Ross was good.

I know it probably sounds nuts, but to me, I think he deserved an Oscar nomination for playing Solomon in The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. He was so good in that.

His best line ever was n Leviathan, “bitch, we still here!”

Scream 3 had a Woodsboro set though.

I see just about all of my movies at AMC theaters, since I’m an A-List member. I’ve been seeing a lot of Cocaine Bear trailers (they worked, already have my ticket for this weekend), 65, which I agree, looks pretty cool, and yeah, I’ve seen the Shazam trailer plenty. I was so glad when Babylon came out, I was so sick

Megan, She Came From the Woods, Knock at the Cabin, Infinity Pool, etc. LOL, guess I’m telling on myself, I watch a lot of horror movies. Guess they’re focusing on the core audience.

I’ve seen plenty of Scream trailers, maybe you’re not hitting the right movies, I usually see it before other horror movies. I stream everything, so I can’t speak to network/cable television, but the trailer is all over youtube.

Well, sure, but a huge chunk of the horror genre is hacks copying something, the 80's slasher craze was made up of endless Halloween ripoffs. Were most of them good? Not really, but I still found a lot of them entertaining for what they were.

Yes! I loved Captain D’s when I was a kid, preferred it to LJS, except for chicken, loved the LJS chicken planks. I’ve always heard of Arthur Treacher’s, another fast food fish place in the 70s, but it wasn’t around here. I googled, and apparently one still exists in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Seems like I went to a KFC a couple of months ago or so, and I didn’t see Nashville Hot on the menu, the kid behind the counter said they still had it, but it was a ridiculous upcharge for each individual tender. It would have ended up being nearly 20 dollars or something, so I just left.

The movie I most remember her from is Mother, Jugs, and Speed, seems like they played it a lot when I was younger. But what I most remember her from is the hour long episode of Mork & Mindy she guest starred in, I recorded that episode and watched it until the tape eventually wore out. Amazing lady.

Forget the popcorn chicken, just don’t take away my beloved hot wings!

“He knows Doctor, he knows.”

I know it sounds nuts, but a two hour episode of The Incredible Hulk from the late 70's. Marriette Hartley played Carolyn Fields, she and David Banner fell in love and got married, but she ended up dying in the Hulk’s arms during a hurricane. I saw that over forty years ago, and it’s stuck with me all this time. Bill

Call them what you like, but they’re freaking awesome! Life changing, I rarely even touch my microwave anymore.

Pam Grier from Smallville too. Maybe bring Lizzo in, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind some comic book movie money being thrown her way.

Look, I know Joss Whedon is a shitbag, but I have to say, I really liked his take on Batman in JL. I mean, I  thought I liked grim and gritty as much as the next guy, but apparently not if Zach Snyder is the next guy (or Matt Reeves for that matter, turns out, you can make Batman too realistic for my tastes). I was
