ooh no. You HAVE to watch the entirety of that routine. As hard as it is to believe that is NOT an anti-top gear rant. It's so much more... Stewart Lee's comedy doesn't work in snippet form.

Some people simply enjoying the manual driving experience.

Nobody "dislikes" the ZF 8HP. It is certainly leaps and bounds better than the 6L90E that GM has put in everything for the last 7 years. It's a good automatic. However, that is not the point.

Because to a lot of enthusiasts there is great satisfaction in rowing your own gears.

three pedals are more fun. It's as simple as that.

This thing isn't even out yet, but I'm pretty confident I'd take it over a M4.

Because its like going to a grocery store and wanting a ice cream and you are told you will have an apple. I don't want an apple, I have nothing against apples I just want ice cream.

No manual lover will deny that a modern auto is faster. What they will argue about is which:

If you want that, then just get a normal BMW and glue on your own M badge.

Id rather be slower and have more fun shifting then split seconds faster and less joy.

All modern Ferrari's are a mess. They've really lost their way, horrible design after horrible design since the 360

It's not my absolute favourite but, in a proper race, the Mini - lower case; there's no BMW here - can make for quite the spectacle.

Of course, not only the diesel hatchbacks, but also the Allroad and the Q7/Q5/Q3

Don't think I've ever seen 4 people wearing helmets in a convertible

I saw this at Goodwood last month - Maserati V8R

That's the 2005-2006 facelift with front air dam and chubbier rear bumper. You can also get that grille on the aftermarket, though personally I think it looks like it's vomiting chain mail.

At this point I am at a loss on coming up with another car that accomplishes that much at that price.

As an avowed Tesla fan, someone tell me why this isn't more of a competitor for the E class instead of the S class, in which case it really isn't that great a value.

Classic interview from 1974, Lauda and Montezemelo in younger version. Ignore Niki's eyeroll at 0:56 when Luca says it's a good car :)
