I almost cried when I heard the news earlier yesterday. This is truly tragic and a great loss to WWII heritage.
That's awesomely hilarious! I had mine in a 95 Buick Skylark and when my brother totaled it, I made sure that I took it out so I could put it in my next car, but I think it ended up in a box which is now in the attic.
Yea I currently have a JK Wrangler so I've been looking for a small 5-speed manual car for the fuel savings. No luck thus far.
I'll have to put one on my lawn tractor now! Thanks for the advice!
Yea it worked. They got my money.
All "fuel saving" devices. They don't work. They're all a waste of your money. When I was 16 and had my first car, I thought it would be really cool to get a Tornado Fuel Saver because the commercial said it saved you fuel while increasing engine power. It did nothing for my car and I was down something like $25. I…
I seriously can't get enough of that car and that glorious sound!
I know. It seems like they go through cans of the stuff. I love listening to this thing start for the first time in years. It makes me smile every time.
In my mind's eye, it's none other than the lovely Porsche 917. I still go gaga for this video.
I would give my left nut and a kidney for a CTS-V Wagon. It is most definitely my dream car. If you gave me an unlimited amount of money to buy any car I want, I'd get the V Wagon with the 6 speed manual for sure. It's just something about a station wagon that can kick all other cars in the nuts that makes me all…
My vote is for the Nissan Leaf. I don't know how they expect it to be a success when it has less than 100 miles of range. It's unreliable as a daily driver. In my eyes it's a total failure.
All more of a reason for me to refer to it as the Nissan Joke.
As a fellow DeLorean lover, it hurts me real down deep to hear about the loss of this great man. May he rest in peace and get to drive that immaculate DeLorean in the sky every day! Tell John Z DeLorean I said hello and good job on the Pontiac muscle cars and DeLorean.
Now that I think about it, $25k is a bit much. I guess I agree with you. And I would LOVE to have a Lightning. I think it would be a blast to drive! It's on my fantasy garage list for sure.
I voted NP. I've always had a thing for the new GTOs and the G8 GTs and GXPs. It's such a shame Pontiac went under because I wanted to buy a G8 GT when I graduated college and got a job, but by that time, Pontiac was gone and the only ones I can find are used ones. I figure now I'll just wait a few more years and buy…
Yay for plastics! I'm a plastics engineer and I'm all about more plastics use in today's modern world!
@Jagvar: My brothers and I used to put them in dad's bench vise and pretend we were the crusher at a junk yard and see how sight of a package we could crush the cars into. If only I'd have known what I know now...
@cdoggyd: Don't forget about a pickup like the Gladiator/J-10/J-20. I think I would buy a pickup Jeep if it looked as good as the Gladiator concept they released a few years ago.
That it is.
