This why recumbent bikes are banned from a major bicycle races (Tour de France, etc), they are far faster than upright bikes (all speed records are held by recumbent bikes or trikes).

Well if your battery gets low you can always charge your phone by a plugging it into one of the USB ports on the Surface. ;)

There is no contradiction at all. The first word in your second quote is "but". As in: most tablets sold are WiFi only BUT Surface seems designed for people on the go. Him/Her (can't tell with a name like Jamie) stating both points is not contradicting himself/herself.

If there was a 3G/4G version I would still buy the WiFi only version. When I take my tablet with me I just use the mobile hotspot function from my BBs/iPhone/Androids. This way I don't have to pay more for the 4G version and I don't have to pay more for a second data plan.

Apple only announces products right before release so as not to hurt sales of their existing products. The only existing products who's sales are going to be hurt by people waiting to buy a Surface are iPads and Android tablets.
