So basically this guy damn near pulled a Ricky Bobby?

These big planes play a role not able to be filled by smaller planes, they put down huge fire lines miles long that are ahead of the fire. Some of them are used where the smaller planes are but that is after they have established that huge fire line. Having both is better than only have a shit load of smaller planes.

T

As burner’down said these guys are laying down fire lines miles long with a retardant that they don’t just get from a lake. There is a market for updated planes that can get water from lakes.

The redwoods near my house had a fire last year, it did not get into the upper canopy but some of the smaller trees considered to be safe from fires burned. If things burned like they should you would be able to just walk through the forest here, but its so over grown you really have to work for it.

It is humans but its not always even the ones that live out there, its the city boys crying because animals might get killed. OK sure, they will die, but did they not die before humans settled the area when natural wild fires had nothing to stop them? Do they not die while these massive fires burn everything in their

I love and hate this car. That interior is so nice but someone forgot their tablet, that exterior is nice, except someone slapped a Golf rear end on it. That engine is nice, well actually I am not really mad about that, its too early to tell if it will be able to be taken as far as the 4 pot 1.6 but I have hopes.

I

Yup, just a “Hey we are watching you” will be a good compromise. If you keep doing it you get a court summons to talk to a judge about why you can’t drive.

There were more accidents at a local redlight intersection with the cameras then before or after the cameras. The issue is people would see a yellow, speed up to get through it, see the cameras, slam on their brakes and get rear-ended. The city got rid of the 5 they had and accident rates dropped and traffic got a

You are not saying it shouldn’t be fixed, you are just saying its on the owners to fix it. That is where all of your comments have lead thus far. Its also a lot larger than 800rpm. In most cases its about double that. If it was 5% I would agree you wouldn’t notice, but its actually a decent amount on a already

It is noticeable enough to call for Toyota and Subaru to fix it. There is also the principal of it all, and the fanboys who say “just toss a grand and it and the issue goes away.”

EDIT that 20ftlb is 15%, its noticeable. It also spans about 1500RPM.

I have driven one, it was noticeable. Then again I like cars that have a fast hitting but flat powerband so that dip was pretty much a non starter for me.

Again you should not need to do that for the cost of this car. Your “fix is available” argument doesn’t really work because this is something Toyota/Subaru should be fixing.

And for those that don’t want to have to fix this issue, driving around high in the rev range isn’t a great solution either.

You shouldn’t need to do that for the cost of this car.

Like drilled brakes it is there strictly to sell cars. It looks sporty so someone will want it.

The issue is they did a lot of the development just to nix it anyways. That thing wasn’t just some cobbled together bullshit, it was pretty close to production ready if reports are right.

Nissan is dead, its just a name like that singular Blockbuster. I honestly would be more OK with the company just fading from existance instead of what we have now with the corpse of Nissan past animated by puppeteer Ghosn.

No my response was perfect, it got you to look it up which segues into my next point. They are not failing like they used to, the issue is they are not working like they should. I understand how DCTs should work and it amazes me how bad they still are. The problem is not solved.

So I talked to my friend who works at a dealership, its not the actual CVT failing like he implied, its the controllers going out which makes them start missing where they should be sitting at RPM wise or being very clunky when “shifting” from a stop. They are replacing them pretty frequently but its usually when the

You completly glossed over the fact that these cars all made it past their warranty without needing to be repaired, and now are getting fixed for free despite being out of warranty.

Also I guess you have not bought a current gen Honda with the trash CVT. Those things are failing in one way or another at a much higher

The issue isn’t fixed, so you are correct, ignore this guy.
