The tempo was my first car. Meh style, meh performance, meh auto transmission, meh comfort, meh gas mileage​. The only thing it excelled at was reliability. It may be even peak meh I dare say.

The hose from hell on a SW20 MR2 Turbo. Absolute nightmare to change this thing. To get at it you have to remove all the turbo piping and then its still buried under the oil cooler in a cramped space.

Uber should be shit on. They exploit their drivers and many make less than minimum wage.

I think the real answer here is a Toyota 86/BRZ/FRS. It’s sporty, will run forever, they live in California so the rwd won’t matter and it doesn’t have a lot of power so it won’t be too much for a new driver to handle.
