That’s not possible. I saw the movie, and she was lying.
That’s not possible. I saw the movie, and she was lying.
You mean, kind of like the people who dismiss Hillary Clinton because she supported Goldwater in 1964 when she was 16?
Or if it turns out that there are no witnesses other than the parents. In other words, a potential “the dingo ate my baby” situation.
You know, you seem like a reasonable person from your other comments. So I’m beginning to think this is a case of mistaken identity. Nobody else but you is claiming this. Gurvisback/Bama/Hoyo hasn’t been commenting here “for years,” under any user name. And never, ever, claimed to be white or exhibited anti-black…
Nobody else is even claiming this but you. It’s your fantasy. Go ahead, prove it. https://kinja.com/gurvisback/dis…
Judging from the things you’ve said here, your memory isn’t exactly reliable. You have no evidence, of course.
Gurvisback never said he was white. He always made clear he was a black gay man originally from Somalia, living in Toronto. You’re dreaming. And please show me something where he said he was a woman. You’re on extremely shaky ground here.
It’s kind of like my reaction when people said to me after my transition, “you’re so brave!!!” Kind of a double edge to that, you know?
Nope.
So the fact that Hoyo says he’s black proves he’s white? You’re an expert on what “real” black gay men would say? How exactly did you acquire that expertise?
She could have just said “gender non-conforming” instead of “masculine.” I don’t think that would have been as objectionable.
See my comment above about female masculinity. Again, though, let Tig speak for herself about that if she wants to.
There is certainly a concept of “female masculinity”that many queer women have addressed. I think Amy Schumer might be better off letting those women address that topic (if they wish to do so), rather than trying to speak for them. Well-intentioned as she may have been.
Thank you very much.
A story about the last mass murder at a gay club — the arson that killed 29 people at the Upstairs Lounge in New Orleans in 1973:
It’s not just Cubans anymore in Florida. There are lots and lots of other Latinx people.
The man who killed them cared. All the other people in this world who hate LGBT people care. It’s important not to erase who the victims were. But I bet that every time an unarmed black kid is killed by the cops, you get annoyed by the fact that the story mentions his race. Because you don’t see color, and you don’t…
I know. It’s terrible. Of course I’ve been concerned about my son’s safety ever since he came out to me as gay when he was 12, which was 14 years ago. More so than I’ve worried about my own safety as a trans woman. It’s a dangerous world. But I’ve never ever really worried about something like this happening in a safe…
If all those little kids dying at Sandy Hook didn’t move them, this certainly won’t.
Thanks. He just called me a little while ago. As it turns out, after everything that’s happened he was so upset that he decided to stay away. Which is too bad. He’s still thinking of stopping by later, though.
