"Perhaps Hasbro believes that the name Transformer Prime will provide Asus with increased sales just from having a name that people associate with a known brand."

Why should we as consumers excuse even 3% failure?

Yeah but what fraction of the population with the means to buy a tablet is that dumb?

You know people who would buy a tablet because it sounds like a cartoon character?

Goddamnit.

"My transmission is broken."

"Man who crashed Lamborghini he won puts an ad on craigslist to sell it and mentions Jay Leno. Apparently you should care."

"I happen to know more about taxes than this internet person. Occupy Wall Street is wrong because I don't like it and I'm right about something unrelated. I called it."

When I do homework, the math is real hard. I could lose a minus sign, or divide when I should multiply.

Am I the only one wondering why we need this kind of weapon in the first place?

Am I the only one wondering why we need this plane in the first place?

Stupid.

The Wankel was in the wrong place at the wrong time. At the height of rotary fever, GM, Mazda, AMC, and Mercedes-Benz were all licensing the Wankel technology from NSU. GM famously created a Wankel powered Corvette prototype. Mercedes produced the C111 super car with a 4 rotor in 1969.

Any idiot/troll can see that the Wankel is currently no match for the piston engine, and it takes no great leap of intuition to understand that most of its deficiencies are DUE to its lack of development (not excused by it).

Not everything I wrote was intended as a direct retort to something you said. With that in mind, let me rephrase my reply in clearer language.

I agree that being an enthusiast does not mean that we must turn a blind eye to reliability or fuel consumption. I firmly believe that performance and practicality are not mutually exclusive.

How so?

It isn't really a "problem" in the usual sense of the world. From the 2004 Mazda RX-8 Owner's Manual:

I wondered the same thing too.
