I’d rather them delay the season to work around Cavill’s schedule instead of recasting. Especially since I imagine Season 4 will largely be an adaptation of Baptism of Fire, which could be reworked to put the focus on Ciri and The Rats, and reduce the Geralt side of the story to smaller bits culminating in the Battle

My fancasting for Reed for a while has been LaKeith Stanfield. But Chidi works too.

The way Rotten Tomatoes works is that the reviewers actually mark their own reviews as rotten or fresh. That’s why you’ll sometimes see a lowish score review marked as fresh because the reviewer thought it was dumb or poorly made, but they still had fun watching it.

So the thing about this is that Fortnite doesn’t actually mash every IP out there together at the same time, at least not beyond player skins. When they do the big themed seasons it’s just that theme.

In fighting sports like boxing and MMA if the killing blow was landed within the legal confines of the fight (i.e. the bell hasn’t been rung and the ref hasn’t intervened to separate the fighters), and wasn’t clearly intended to be lethal then it’s not considered murder or manslaughter.

They can use anything from the Appendices of Return of the King. Appendix A states that the Rings of Power were forged in Eregion.

According to Tolkien, these rings were also made in Eregion by Sauron, working in disguise as a being who called himself Annatar, but that’s not the way things seem to go in the show. Galadriel’s already wise to Sauron’s schemes, and she’s tipped off Celebrimbor as well, so another guy just showing up and

I haven’t read a lot of the esoterica so I don’t know what Tolkien wrote about this, but my impression was that the relationship between Annatar and Celebrimbor was reciprocal, and that Sauron wouldn’t necessarily have been able to forge the other rings on his own. What feels weightless to me about this is that

And that was with Meta only spending $10 billion this year on the technology. Who knows what another small fortune will bring?

There was this slightly off-kilter edge to his early stuff that kept them at least interesting, but after ‘I Heart Huckabees’ he veered really hard into Oscar bait crowdpleasers and lost that spark.

That Sauron scene was from the very first episode of the show. There’s very little new footage in this trailer.

Celeborn is definitely not dead. Galadriel says she ‘never saw him again,’ unlike her brother, whose body was recovered. They’re going to have to answer where he’s been, but there’s an emotional reunion coming up in some future season.

And reportedly Robert made the game engine from scratch,

Luiga hasn’t worked at the company for even longer than Rostov, Kurvitz and Hindpere.

I was talking about Hell on Wheels, not Warrior.

I gave up on the show a couple episodes into the second season (it was trying way too hard to be Deadwood-lite. I may have to go back and give it another try because I’ve heard it starts to become its own thing around season 3), but I believe the later seasons of Hell on Wheels also had a lot of prominent Chinese

I also work in the video game industry. When the senior leadership of a studio gets ousted and there isn’t a subsequent exodus of the mid and low level talent, the feel of the games they make probably isn’t going to change that much, and 9 times out of 10 the senior leadership were assholes.

Except whatever game ZA/UM is working on next probably isn’t a sequel to Disco Elysium? The point is that everybody saying everything ZA/UM makes from now on is destined to be trash without these three specific people working there is fundamentally unreasonable.

Making a pretty big assumption that Disco Elysium 2 is even what they’re making next.
