Celeborn is definitely not dead. Galadriel says she ‘never saw him again,’ unlike her brother, whose body was recovered. They’re going to have to answer where he’s been, but there’s an emotional reunion coming up in some future season.

And reportedly Robert made the game engine from scratch,
Luiga hasn’t worked at the company for even longer than Rostov, Kurvitz and Hindpere.
I was talking about Hell on Wheels, not Warrior.
I gave up on the show a couple episodes into the second season (it was trying way too hard to be Deadwood-lite. I may have to go back and give it another try because I’ve heard it starts to become its own thing around season 3), but I believe the later seasons of Hell on Wheels also had a lot of prominent Chinese…
I also work in the video game industry. When the senior leadership of a studio gets ousted and there isn’t a subsequent exodus of the mid and low level talent, the feel of the games they make probably isn’t going to change that much, and 9 times out of 10 the senior leadership were assholes.
Except whatever game ZA/UM is working on next probably isn’t a sequel to Disco Elysium? The point is that everybody saying everything ZA/UM makes from now on is destined to be trash without these three specific people working there is fundamentally unreasonable.
Making a pretty big assumption that Disco Elysium 2 is even what they’re making next.
From twitter:
Worth noting that all the other artists, engineers, animators, designers and writers who made Disco Elysium are still at ZA/UM. Sounding the doom alarm because three people left the company is a bit insulting to the rest of them.
Given the success of Godzilla vs. Kong they should just go straight to adapting Tarzan at the Earth’s Core.
It’s not clear what’s shifted here; Deadline doesn’t quote any sources as to why the change has been made, or where Armor Wars will fit into the company’s already elaborate Phase Four, Five, or Six movie plans.
I think cloud gaming only really makes sense as an augmentation to local gaming, not as a full-on replacement.
As Kotaku reported back in 2021, Skull and Bones grew out of a concept for an Assassin’s Creed Black IV: Flag expansion.
Apparently they can’t cancel it because they’ve gotten a ton of massive tax breaks from Singapore to open the studio there, and those tax breaks are contingent on the studio actually releasing a game at some point. If they cancel it they’re not just out the development costs, they have to pay all the back taxes that…
Not only does he think director’s cuts “suck” in general, but of his own movie, he has said, “It’s not good, at four and a half hours.”
Umm, yes it is? It shows that this is a wholly artificial pay wall that exists to get new players to pay money right off the bat so that they can play the same content that other players for which the only quantifiable difference is that they had an account before October 4th.
Pretty sure his weight gain wasn’t specifically for The Whale. Fraser’s had a lot of health problems, a lot of which stemmed from the level of apparent fitness he had in his ‘prime,’ so he isn’t capable of being the thin, hot Brendan Fraser of the ‘90s and early aughts any more (look at him in ‘Trust’ and ‘No Sudden…
The lack of crunch in the shell is by far the Choco Taco’s biggest weakness. It’s always soggy and soft and tough, so instead of being able to just bite pieces off, you bite into it and then it squishes and the ice cream gets squeezed out in any available direction.
The Autumnal Harvest Creamy Pasta Sauce is also excellently pumpkiny and spicy, and makes a GREAT pizza sauce.
