Has anyone rented a car through Turo before? I’m going to be in Los Angeles for a long weekend and was looking to rent a sports car on the cheap. Based on what I’ve seen I could get a Mustang, 3 Series, A3, A4, Challenger, Camaro, etc for around $50-80 a day.

Came across this old photo while cleaning up my photo albums. This was taken near San Luis Obispo, CA. He was doing at least 60mph on the freeway. The best part was the only thing holding it in was a friend in the back seat.

This car is cheap and has lots of possibilities. Its also one of the more reasonably priced kit cars I’ve seen in a while. Ifi was in the market it would definitely warrant a closer look.

I have gotten TWO parking tickets in the past week and both of them are utter bull. Both were for no valid parking permit when I have been parking in the same space for the past 9 months, with the parking tag hanging from my rear view mirror... Now to go contest the tickets.
