I totally agree but I think Basketball was his best choice. He is so damn gifted that almost every other sport would completely squander one of his talents. Sure his vision and playmaking would be useful in football but not to the same extent

I think even the casual fan recognizes that without their number 2 and number 3 starters, the Indians are at a significant disadvantage in the Series. They’re gonna need at least 2 maybe 3 great starts from Kluber to stand a chance. Hell, I can wait for game 7 for his CGSO.

This game was better than if he had pitched a 9 inning shutout. He was able to be pulled after just 88 pitches, saving his arm for Game 4 on short rest.

Seriously, his offspeed pitches looked like they were illegally bred with knuckle balls before the game. Hell, even his 2-seamer knuckled at points. I have no idea how Perez even caught most of them.
