completely accessible to people who haven’t played the original game... until the last chapter. At that point, it’s hard to follow even if you have finished FFVII — if you haven’t played it at all, the ending will be incomprehensible.

Loved the movie, but I agree that the only character I want back is Craig’s detective. It’d be lovely to also have more Ana De aArmas, but that character’s arc and the rest of the dysfunctional character’s lives are “done”.
