As just some random guy at a desk slacking off at work... this is interesting AF.

Books. You need to be writing Books.

How about this scary Halloween steering wheel cover:

I guess time will tell. I’m not entirely sure that amplifying a crap sound will necessarily improve it. In other words, I’m concerned they’ll just sound like louder farts. The V8 and V10 scream will still be missing. I could be wrong. I hope I’m wrong.

TURN OFF YOUR FUCKING BLINDING ASS HIGH BEAMS.

I like what truckers do and flash their indicators to tell each other that they have room to pass/enter the lane. I do the same for trucks and other cars.

Anyone who doesn’t pick the RX-7 is wrong! Look at that lovely shape.

The only true way to measure horsepower accurately is by putting your car in a tug-of-war against a team of actual horses, and counting how many horses it takes to break even.

Absolutely sucks that so many posts on this site are turned into something political when there was no reason for it to be political. This article was an inappropriate choice to do such a thing.

Just rattle can it black. That’ll hide it.

I’m mostly offended at the idea of drinking beer out of a straw.

I’m disappointed, but not surprised, to see so few changes to the schedule. Watkins Glen wanted to stay on the schedule, just on a different date. I wish they would’ve moved the Glen and added Portland. Also, still ending the season at Sonoma is the biggest disappointment of them all.

Third point of advice is, don’t buy a house in an HOA neighborhood. There’s nothing less American than signing over your freedom to some no-name committee of neighborhood snitches. HOAs can fuck right off.

F1 does need more of this. I’d say sports in general do too, but especially F1.

they’ll go to something even less practical yet somehow still more soul-suckingly boring, right?

Golden age suggests that it’ll end. I don’t see an end in sight...

Yep. I think that the power levels that we’re seeing now have reached an upper limit. You don’t really need much more power. The only developments I can see to advance IC engines is efficiency. They will inevitably be taken over by electric once battery technology gets better which is why I believe we’re near the

I would say the golden age of computer-controlled internal combustion. Everything else about now I can take or leave, but the leaps forward in reliable specific output in the last decade or so have been astounding. You couldn’t do this with carburetion or the early, primitive engine computers. Sure, back in the 80s

Seriously. Has there ever been a time when the super-wealthy have had a better selection of frillion dollar uber-cars? All the while, cars that are available to common chumps like me are getting more and more boring.
