I.want.her.necklace.now!

@ShrutiBorus: I agree. I first read the posts on her site and wasn't too bothered when Jezebel reposted. There's a context that just seems to be missing from the actual blog when they are reposted in this forum.

@they call me ginger: I agreed that these posts were harmless fun, until this one. The lady says she's not practicing, she has a disclaimer, all of that is fine. The articles aren't my cup of tea as a doctoral student in clinical psychology, but I didn't mind them anymore than the typical trash we see in midweek

@metaphorsbewithyou: That is absolutely wonderful. From your discourse on here, I think you'd make an excellent nurse. I wish you only the best in pursuit of this incredible goal.

@colorisnteverything: Just to note, there is a difference between OCD and OCPD. The basis for the disorders and the symptoms are quite different. That said, you are quite right about this arm chair psychology.

@metaphorsbewithyou: I'll be honest, I googled these websites last night. I couldn't even get through the first one. As a clinical psychologist in training, I found this heart wrenching. They don't teach you in class or in training how far this culture goes. I already want to work with children, maybe I can focus

Ok, enough is enough with these articles. This one isn't even based in psychology other than OCPD is a very real disorder. I would do a break down sentence by sentence of why all of this is wrong, but I'm going to do just two choice excerpts.

@metaphorsbewithyou: Thank you for sharing. This was beyond informative. You answered questions I wasn't sure if I was ok asking.

@tuntastica: I thought this might be the case as well.

@mandiandi: Thank you all for your responses. It was quite enlightening to understand one of the nuances of the culture. When I learned about aneroxia nervosa, my professors never went beyond diagnostic criteria. Even the professionals find ways to avoid the hard reality of disorders.

I have a language question. Why is it called "ana?"

I don't care about the video proof. I stand firm that California Girls is Ke$ha

@ManicPixieNightmare: Well it is, sort of. It's about her being with men when she would prefer being with a woman and during an encounter with a man is thinking about being with a woman.

Reba's hair and Snookie's skin are the same color. Time to lay off the self-tanner, lady.

Go away clogs. We made a deal back in the '90s that you would never reappear. You tried hiding as a croc, but I saw through that and fought back. Now, you try to infiltrate by passing as a cute heel. Not under my watch, buster. Out you go.

@eozemeb1001: Well in the letter, she does call the ladies dumb:

@cellardoor: Excuse me if I came off as attacking you, that wasn't my intention. I stated that I found the term in question not "nice." You asked me for an explanation and I gave you one. I asked you to correct me if I assumed incorrectly about you being LGBTQ. I'm sorry that assumption came off rude in any
