I just read the original post. I don't know if I'm more sickened by Breslin or one of her commentators. The comment is in the reply.

Usually these before and after shots don't bother me. Yes, I get slightly aggravated that they destroy the human form, but it's minor. I had a visceral reaction to this set of photos.

@MagImpalor: I thought I was the only one! Friday comes and it's all "Pretty in Pink" sound track and curlers and make-up all over the bathroom while I dance around in a long t-shirt and face mask.

Lies. These are terrible lies. April Fool joke a little late. ::plugs fingers in ears::

1. Hortense enjoy your much needed day off.

@Tea and Oranges: I used to melt them in the microwave. They make for beautiful stain glass...or that's what I used to tell my mom. ::Runs off with a pair of scissors, a lighter, light bulb, gummy bears, and barbie clothes::

@andromache: That's no fun at all! I want to eat my lamp not get shards of plastic in my gums.

I always giggle over the shame in having lice. People think it's caused by dirt and grime. The little buggers prefer clean environments to live and lay their eggs. Grease and dirt and oil are enemies of the lice state.

@plaisible: My toe hair grows in pretty slowly. I also live where open toed shoes are only an option for two months of the year. I haven't noticed it being darker or thicker as compared to how other body hair reacts to shaving.

@Tart of Darkness: I don't understand. What's wrong with us jointly discussing these issues? Not attacking, just trying to understand.

Please don't revoke my feminist card. I want to see this movie, albeit for free on some website.

Ladies who are thinking about waxing, here are your ten commandments:

@Bookish Bohemian: The hair has to be long enough to grip but not so long that the wax grabs the hair without the root. The first couple of times there will be irritation when it grows back in, but after a while less and less hair grows back and it grows back finer because the root is getting pulled out. I don't

@AspasiaTheLayza: Grip the lip taut. it's easier to shave and you're less likely for the loose skin to get caught and cut. Uh-oh, I feel a limerick coming on. I'm out.

@GwenayFairfay: I second the MACH 3. Why do razors for women never work as well as the ones for men?

@EsmereldaFitzmonster: Long-term bleaching can also affect the skin, but that's just what I've heard and I don't know the effects.
