I am wrapping up the trilogy on Audible and have enjoyed it immensely. I read the first book but couldn't get into the second but I've blown through the audiobooks. I'm really excited to listen again in podcast format.

Nah man. Being a fan of something doesn’t mean you can’t poke fun at it or criticize it. That’s a ridiculous notion. If you go to the subreddit it’s just a lot of people having a good time at the expense of a game that didn’t deliver on certain promises or expectations.

Nah man, I know what you were trying to say. I’m saying it was a shit analogy.

Yeah but what if a lack of subtitles is part of the artistic vision?? Checkmate bro.

Video games are fundamentally different than movies in so many ways my dude. That’s not the slam dunk analogy you think it is.

“But isn’t it fair to say some games are designed with that challenge in mind, and removing it would basically ruin the game’s integral design?”

Yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to it. Not sure what this person is on about.

Exactly. Given the format I think this isn't a terrible idea as long as it doesn't turn into another lame looter shooter with the barest hints of a story.

I mean, you still have people saying “well the rumors were actually correct this is just the result of chip shortage/covid/whatever other excuse they can come up with.” Is Nintendo working on a 4K switch? Duh. Is this it? No. Were the rumors wrong? Yes.

I mean, at the moment they were demonstrably wrong. I have no doubt Nintendo is working on a 4K version of the Switch, but this ain’t it.

People really went insane with the rumors and stuff.

I just bought my switch in March and that absolutely would have gotten me to upgrade. Oh well.

I highly doubt they'd give you a new model for a warranty replacement. In my experience that only happens when there are no direct replacements on hand and refurb switches will be floating around for years to come.

I kept reading and waiting for the punchline and I got to the end and realized it wasn't a bit and I was sad.

Actually, other people have presented nuanced responses to your viewpoint, which was basically “but other cars catch on fire too.” It wasn’t nuanced at all.

I'm not arguing anything, I don't care. I'm telling you why some people don't just delete their account.

“Christianity again?! You guys came back around to it?!” -Varnished Jerry, eternally damned.

I haven't had a Facebook account for years, but for some people it's really not that easy. It was super easy for me to delete my account because I never had family on it, but for a lot of people there's this expectation among their family that you have one to keep in touch. My wife hasn't had one for years either but

What an embarrassing thing to say.

Which browser are you using? I’m using Firefox with with add ons and do not have this issue (Galaxy Note 20). Might be your browser.
