30FPS with drops into the mid 20s according to Digital Foundry, and the PS4 Pro seems to try and keep it at 1080p but doesn’t do a great job of it.

Got three months and a Chromecast Ultra for free not that long ago and have been pleasantly surprised with just how good it is. Doesn’t really address my main issue with the Service (you don’t actually own your games, but you pay full price for them) but the tech is pretty fantastic. I think I’m going to get Cyberpunk

I think this is a valid question. Stadia might be a not terrible option for those that want to play the game at launch but don't have a PC or new console.

Republicans were directly or indirectly responsible for tens of thousands of deaths if not more this year, and they BARELY lost the presidential election, gained seats in the house, will probably keep the senate, and have firm control of the SCOTUS.

I mean, that’s all fine, but if a kid says they’re getting bullied because they can’t afford to buy fortnite cosmetics I’m going to believe them. It’s a good article, you should give it a read:

I think it was Polygon that wrote an article awhile ago about kids being bullied because they still had the starting outfit in fortnite. I'm glad you can ignore it, that's not necessarily an option for everyone.

We didn’t become OK with it, we never had a choice. Publishers and developers spent millions to weaponize psychology and game mechanics to make it impossible for certain people not to participate in the DLC/microtransaction economy. This wasn’t an accident, this wasn’t something that publishers took a chance on, it

My dad had a similar truck around that time, it’s the truck I learned to drive a stick on, and it was an absolute blast to drive. He had a chip in it and it was a damn delight to just run through the gears. He ended up getting rid of it because it wasn't four wheel drive but I think he regrets it to this day.

Yeah, sorry. The game looks, and has always looked, like utter dog shit. Store brand Avengers with boring, repetitive gameplay and live service mechanics shoved down the player’s throat.

Yes? Lower powered console runs games at lower resolutions and/or framerate. Was anything else expected or promised?

This is me exactly. With its release on game pass I'm excited to put some more time into it but I immediately became overwhelmed. Had no idea what I was doing it why, it was just not an enjoyable experience. Hopefully this makes it a little more welcoming to those of us in this situation as well.

Yeah, the underwhelming trailer that I couldn’t finish because it was painfully boring did a great job of tempering my expectations. So, well done guys?

Holy moly. My friends and I used to play OJ 3D in jr high on our algebra teacher’s classroom computers. I thought it was called OJ 3D Driving, and every once in awhile I’ll search for it but never had any luck.

Yeah, there was never actually a mystery here but I guess we just all need to pretend it’s some big question mark instead of the publisher wants more money to turn the graphics settings to ultra on console. womp womp.

I think you’re absolutely right. Individual elements might not be as compelling as some other open world offerings, but boy it hits all the right buttons for me as a whole. When I’m not playing it I’m thinking about it, which at this stage in my life is honestly pretty rare. I’m happy it exists.

This is fantastic, thank you for sharing.

Bootlickers gonna boot lick.

I’m utterly shocked that a game that has looked like trash from the start is actual trash.

Were the graphics underwhelming? I mean, yeah. But what did people expect? 343 had to target consoles with wildly different power levels. There’s only so much they can do.

Seriously. What evidence do we have of that? An OK Halo game (4), a pretty awful Halo game (5), and a nine minute gameplay trailer?
