I always liked the Buffy/Angel transformations. Because they turned humans into actual, feral animals in keeping with that show's vision of vampires as, well, monsters and soulless (with two exceptions) killing machines. Plus it somehow made Julie Benz and Juliet Landau even sexier. Which is difficult. And weird.

Awesome.

NOBODY was cooler than John Ritter. Gotta call you out on that one, Wook.

Some are just more equal than others.

I'll see your OMG WTF and raise you a HOLY SHIT THAT THING'S EATING ITS FUCKING SIBLINGS!!

Especially Ayla Secura. Yummy.

Me too.

I'm excited. I'll be in Disneyland in September to race in their half marathon, and will take a couple of days for park visiting as well. By then some of the buzz should have died down, and the line for the ride should be (slightly) smaller.

+1

I miss Yub Nub. I was very sad when it wasn't part of RotJ when the special editions hit the theaters. What made you call it "controversial" though?

I always had a crush on Cheetara.

She had eyes in that movie? Funny, I didn't even notice...

But in the binocular rivalry test, were the subjects being shown a person in one eye and something else—non-person—in the other? I'd rather look at a person than a house anyway. Houses are boring. Wouldn't the test have been more fair if they'd been looking at a trashy celeb in one but an equally attractive but

I didn't realize Eric Balfour was on Haven. Unfortunately that means the show won't last, right? Unfortunately seems like any show that he's been part of the regular cast, gets cancelled after one or two seasons. The only exception to that I can think of is 24, and even then he was only in the first and sixth

I'm a big fan of TftC. I think my favorite episodes are the ones with Christopher Reeve as the diner owner, Joe Pantoliano as the escape artist with the nine lives of a cat, Kyle MacLachlan as the prisoner handcuffed to a dead sherrif, and the guy whose wife was cheating on him—which I remember most because of the

Fair enough. I guess my point was more that I'd expect them to graft into an existing system or planet's orbit, rather than come crashing into them as some have suggested.

Yes it's totally worth it. 1979's Escape from Alcatraz was filmed on The Rock as well, and there's a lot of great historical stories related to the filming (not least of which was, when they got there to make the film the place was so rundown they had to repair a lot, and the repairs and improvements were kept intact

Dirty Harry escaped from Alcatraz before James Bond.

If a planet spins out of orbit from its original star thanks to an extra burst of energy from another planet, shouldn't that planet continue to move outward in a straight line until it reaches another star (or even a massively bigger planet) into whose gravitational pull it would fall? Thereby becoming either a new

@38th, not only was he the second awesomest part of Labyrinth (only barely edged out by the jailbaity Jennifer Connelly), his cameo as Nikola Tesla in The Prestige was also great fun.
