lol Gen X’ers were too busy doing drugs in the early 90's also i think you ment the Xenialls/Millenials. Gen X kids are from 65 to 75, most were in their 20's by the 90's and had careers since the economy was still doing good.

the one thing i loved about the movie was the music, the way they incorporated the GameBoy Gen1 sounds with the music. it was great but made no sense, since the movie is based on Detective Pikachu and not Pokemon Gen 1

yeah they made it specifically for that movie, so its a made movie for a movie.
