Ah the ignorant. Pangea’s movement, or any major tectonic shift that effects *that* much of the planet would render the area completely different. You’re aware that, also, 10,000bc isn’t that long ago geologically speaking. Those water features would be wildly different.

I’m pretty sure Primal started out as something like Blood Dragon, a 15 dollar game.

More reason to believe this was supposed to be DLC that was blown into a full release to fill a hole in their calendar for 2016.

Gotta say, I’m not exactly surprised considering how many assets they reused from AC2 through Revelations

No, they pretty much stated that Primal was Central Europe.

In all fairness, the vast majority of CoD fans hated MW3. So that’s kind of a moot point.

Yeah charging full whack for what Blood Dragon did for £10 is cheeky as fuck get out of here Ubisoft.

FarCry4 didn't take place in central Europe... in the beginning of FarCry:Primal, they make clear the setting is some mythical location in central Europe.

Far Cry 3, Blood Dragon, Far Cry 4, Primal....the best one is going to be the first one you play and it’s going to be A TON of fun. Then you find out all the others are the same and the thought of taking a guard camp is enough to bore you to tears.

I spotted a valley which I could’ve SWORN I’d seen in FC4... turns out I may have been correct. The vegetation was different, of course, but the topography looked similar.

I expected it when the game was first revealed but only assumed it be a 100% original map once the 60 dollar price tag was announced.

Gasp!

too bad Ubisoft said it is set in “prehistoric Central Europe”

Since Far Cry Primal takes place someplace in eastern Europe, I don’t really see that being the case.

“As it turns out, Ubisoft did the same thing for 2013's Far Cry Blood Dragon, whose map is based on Far Cry 3's south island.”

It’d be awesome but isn’t Kyrat in the Himalayas? Oros is stated to be in Central Europe, unless Takkar travelled alot farther getting to Oros at the beginning of the game.

They claim that specific right in the TOS, this is an anti-piracy move as well IMO. I forgot to enter my MACH3 license key after a clean install and Windows deleted the program and some associated IP. Maybe a hundred hours of lost time because of this action by MS.

Not sure why more people aren’t upset about this.

I’m sorry, but how is Win10 better than Win7 again?
