I don't understand why they don't put the Radiant Shards and Energy in the public events. You should be able to get them in the same ways you can get standard shards. It would be way less frustrating if that was the case.

Yeah I'd Flip Black Hammer and Ice Breaker.
While Black Hammer is awesome, it is situational. Ice breaker can be used in any circumstances Black Hammer is good for, plus everything else. Black Hammer is as good at the all around Mobs and things. Great weapon, just not as versatile as Ice Breaker in my opinion.

Also if you need class specific crafting materials run a couple of strikes, they drop tons of green gear each run, plus the blues at the end.

It's not full price. You get 4 full length games for the price of one. That is worth it to me, if anything so it's easier to play in another 5 years when I want to play through them. They are classics so they are worth keeping a disc of and playing through again in 5 or 10 years.
