I’m going to direct this comment to you because I think Tap-Dancin dismissed the one directed at them for some reason...and the comment asking if they dismissed my other comment. Maybe they disagreed that Delia’s was all ruffles and Charlotte Russe style stuff? I dunno. Seems weird to dismiss just cause you disagree.

Are you thinking of Delia’s of the aughts? In the 90's they were mainly a distributor of brands like Doc Marten, Dickies, Airwalk, Free People — definitely not fast fashion. In the 00's, though, they started manufacturing their own clothes, and the quality absolutely went to shit.

Did you dismiss my comment? (Not accusing, just asking because it seems to have disappeared)

From what I have read, it is largely a myth that racist southern Democrats became Republicans after the Civil Rights Act. A few did, just as a few became independents or joined third parties. But mostly it was a slow process of attrition. More blacks joined the Democratic party every year and the racists slowly

A flaw in your analysis is that the racists in the Democratic Party jumped ship to the Republican Party as part of the Southern Strategy.

“Democrats are being uncivil by pointing out racism and injustice. The polite thing to do would be to turn a blind eye and just let it happen unremarked upon!

It’s been awhile since Republicans could feasibly invoke voices like Lincoln or Reagan; try asking a Republican how Reagan would feel about running a $1.5 trillion deficit to give the top 1% a modest tax cut, or how Lincoln would feel about voter ID laws, or Hell, ask them if Jesus (according to The Bible) would

Newt had to actually start turfing his own party out in the eighties when the “Districts” were still pretty Blue to get into a power position in the House in ‘94. This whole system where the parties don’t talk to each other? It started with Newt in the eighties because he and a bunch of other Republicans wanted to

Also, deficit spending, breaking unions, the unholy alliance between the Republican party and Evangelical Christianity. A lot of what is wrong with America today started with Ronald Reagan’s Presidency.

I’d give you more stars for this if I could.

Let’s rewind the clock to about 1980 or so. Reagan picks up the baton of an anti-government platform from Barry Goldwater, after Goldwater’s acolytes effectively assumed control of the GOP. What followed was a systematic expungement of anyone and everyone that didn’t toe the party line, ultimately leading to the

There *used to be* moderate Republicans. But by now all the genuinely moderates Republicans have left the party and registered as independants.

I called them splitsville when SNL aired its season premier. That was not cool.

Costco is known for good pay and employee benefits, and its execs openly endorsed and donated to Hillary Clinton and other Dems. Those old white Trump voters are funding the company’s liberal agenda. What’s the problem?

I thought love for Costco was bipartisan.

This woman is amazing and someone should quickly make a move about her and the rest of the resistance cell.

I’m an old, so, when I read his claim that no campaign had ever spied on another, I just bellowed, ‘Richard Millhouse Nixon, you rancid piece of shit!’ and threw my damn phone

Paranoid delusions, persecutory delusions, grandiose delusions... lather, rinse, repeat... *Sigh*

You know who else had their citizenship stripped? Hint: six million of them were killed.
