Know why I love cars?

Jerry Seinfeld said it well, and here I’m paraphrasing: “You’re indoors and outdoors, moving and standing still, all at the same time. That’s really something.”

But more than that, they can make you FEEL things.

Physically adult, mentally adolescent:

I have been a TSA officer for almost 8 years. I can think of a number of reasons for this failure rate.

Ok to the drivers who inevitably come over from Jalopnik just to hate on lane splitting:

Yup; every single pre-owned G35/G37 owner I’ve known has been a GQ-lite, tequila chugging, leg-day skipping, “green for tha money, gold for tha honeys,” nightclub promoter-type working on an AA in Communications at a community college they never go to.

My favorite thing is driving in my beautiful Colorado mountains.

.

By far, the BMW GT-wagon-thing’s ridiculous pop-up spoiler. Pointless.

So basically...

Detroit Diesel 8V92TA:

Obligatory.

Lambo.... this used to be you

Any car with a right hand drive conversion kit is odd to me. sorry not trusting my life or my 10 fingers with the tension of a belt. i wonder how many people got their sleeves or gloves caught in this system on a turn. this is not pet safe either lol

Don't you love it?

One of the earlier crazy weird cars, the Superbird/Daytona. The first car in NASCAR to play with aerodynamics (but certainly not the first in the world) and it dominated, so much so that it was banned a few years later. This car was crazy, weird, ugly and undesirable when it came out, a lot of people from that era

Its not a race car, but calling a pass play from the one yard line in the final minutes of the Super Bowl instead of handing the ball off to a guy nicknamed "Beast Mode" is a pretty big gamble.

Audi WEC. How has this not been nominated?

Do I even have to tell the story? We all know millions were spent, Ford risked it all against the racing ban in Detroit at the time and Nadar's Unsafe at Any Speed, finally Ferrari was the unbeatable juggernaut at Le Mans. This car was a huge gamble. Luckily it was a huge success.

Reverse: Shelby GT 350's. Oh yeah, baby!
