So if the goal this season was to make Barry an unlikeable dick, mission accomplished.

So Polly is absolutely a lowkey psychopath right? Every time she's on screen I'm worried she's about to pull a supernatural and start stabbing people.
1. CGI is expensive
2. He's kind of OP, like Ragman on Arrow was. I wouldn't be surprised if they get rid of Martin and Jax just becomes quippy black mechanic guy.
Yeah lets stick with the fun supermen, not the broody/murdery ones that get beat up by men in funny costumes.
So today we learned:
1. Everyone on team flash is still pretty fuckin dumb
2. Iris is ruthless
3. Savitar actually came off as… kind of intimidating for once? There's a twist.
Well I know there's certain states in the south where parents can basically have their kids kidnapped and sent to camps, but Riverdale isn't exactly the Deep South.
So
1. Wouldn't Polly be 18 by now? Making her parents forcibly keeping her in that home without a new court order, you know, illegal?
2. Alice Cooper is an absolute fucking psychopath, and Mädchen Amick is playing her brilliantly.
3. Jugg and Betty… I only see this ending poorly.
So I mean if Iris says no, Barry is just gonna pop back in time a day and redo it right?
Oh god no I'm getting terrible flashbacks to Smallville.
Ollie's rebound rip through Star City will be unprecedented.
Those were extremely tiny nukes, being fired out of what suspiciously looked like the exact same SAM platform from Arrow S2.
Oh no doubt, although I think that might be a common attitude among more "old school" fathers like the way archie's is portrayed.
I think they kind of played off the idea that Fred was attracted to Grundy as well, so he wouldn't be angry at her, more "impressed" with Archie, which is why he didn't go hard for jail time. He just seemed stunned until he comforted Archie at the end.
Yeah coming from someone who has no idea about the comics, I was relieved they didn't make the sheriff some hard ass that was disapproving of his gay son, and really just wants the best for him. It's nice to kind of move away from that sort of trope, and see an accepting father like him.
When in doubt, just blame Barry. No doubt he fucked up the timeline.
It would be good if the show at least touches on it later in the season, maybe show how Archie is having trouble developing a real romantic relationship with Betty/Veronica, one that doesn't just revolve around sex, like the one with Miss grundy. I think that would be an easy enough plot line to explore, but I doubt…
If they had ever talked about these issues before on Arrow, maybe it would have been a little less cringey. Hopefully in the future they avoid these sort of hamfisted political debates, even if they attempt to take both sides. This was just painful to watch, even if the scenes with Renee were intense and touching.
What I don't understand is what made her so afraid of Prometheus. She's gone toe-to-toe with the flash, don't see why she couldn't take on a normal dude with a bow.
Yeah, and I think i like it that way. The flash really ventured into that territory towards the end of season 2 with the body count Zoom was racking up, and I don't think it fit the tone of the show, nor would it with LoT. I think each show has a distinct tone, and it's good that way.
Really glad they did some race swapping from the comics, it makes this slightly less weird than it could be.
Still kinda weird though.
