Bowie’s eyes were the same color; it’s just that one pupil was permanently dilated (and therefore looked darker than his other blue eye) after being damaged in a schoolboy fight.
Rather not say; I like my anonymity around these parts.
‘Black Phillip’ (name of the goat.)
I worked on it so I’ve seen it already, many times ;). Glad you liked it!
After its Sundance success, they wanted to let it have a festival run. Not a summer movie. A24 didn’t want to do a cheesy Halloween release, nor have it get lost in the glut of awards-bait films of autumn/winter 2015. Also gives marketing time to build online buzz.
Had its festival run last year, but official release is Feb 2016.
We had to design and build an elaborate mechanism (ie. attach lumps of wood to our apartment door) in order to prevent these two reprobates from escaping at any given opportunity.
“I don’t care, to be honest, about the blacks and the grays. I comment solely to amuse and entertain myself, so my itch has been scratched by the time I hit Publish.” EggsACKlee.
Oh man, if it wins it will be really interesting to watch the audience - who claps, who’s afraid to (beyond the usual suspects, of course)...
*Sigh* Yes, let’s blame the mothers.
Fruit? And how about a mix of nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashew... whatever she likes) dried blueberries (or cranberries) and chocolate chips - just light on the choc and dried fruit.
Sacrilege! Good chocolate is not crap - cocoa solids, milk, sugar. Nothing artificial. Sugar, in and of itself, is *not* crap - it’s quantity that you have to watch. Just as with anything else.
Sorry, I’d rather pay a subscription than have to deal with ads.
It the job of the press to hype these things, but speaking as someone who worked on The Witch, the film is much, much better and scarier than the trailer - because aren’t we sick and tired of the reverse being the case? It’s an intelligent psychological horror, where the ‘scares’ manifest in a kind of creeping dread…
2016. Being distributed by A24, who released Ex Machina, Amy, and Under The Skin.
The Witch has twins in it , too ;)
Principles ain’t principles unless they cost you something. To make it worse, I’m sure $300, 000 isn’t that much for John Legend.
In a word - no.
It’s pretty stilted. There is one great scene in the opening episode where Fonda takes her make up and hairpiece off, though.
