Google Maps on an iPhone 3G was my sole navigation source driving from Vancouver BC to Halifax NS. It even allowed me to successfully navigate Montreal which has the worst streets in Canada. So I really struggle to see the need for anything more than google maps.

I build model scale model airplanes. A quality kit costs me about $125. Add in the resin and photo etched detail parts and I probably invest about $200. But, it takes me about 6 months to build one of these from start to finish. So that's about $1 per night of entertainment. Hard to beat that.

This also likely means that it becomes iOS4 and higher now (leaving those of us with ancient phones SOL). Also, I wonder if they'll fix the problem where you hide things on the web version, but they're still visible on the phone version.
