I don't know… I read Jane's face not as "I love you too," but as "Dude, please, you need to stop. I'm sorry I hurt you, but I'm choosing him." Like it gave me sympathy cringes because she is clearly shutting him down. To me, anyway.

Yeah, but she didn't ask Rafael to step in. She was dealing with it herself, and Rafael overheard and stepped in. And because of it, Jane got to spend more time with Mateo, so again, why would she argue?

I don't know… parents always have problems deciding how to raise their children. Even the ones that are together.

Yeah, she's not, really. He's providing for his child. That's not giving HER money. It's giving Mateo money. He's not even paying for their house, Petra is.

Because it's important to her to work. Lots and lots of women feel this way, and this job is a perfect situation for her. Why on earth would she take a job somewhere with bosses who aren't deeply involved in her personal life and therefore don't give a crap about what childcare/family stuff she needs to do instead of

See… I'm even more confident now that they're not going to do it. They wouldn't have Mateo calling him Dada. There's no coming back from that. I think what they'll do is have the cliffhanger be him in a deadly situation, then come next season he will be fine.

I'm curious…. are there people who would stop watching if Michael got killed? Because I probably would. Not only do I love him, and also him and Jane together, but as mentioned in other's comments, Jane would be absolutely destroyed. Like I don't know how they'd be able to go on with basic storylines because she

Yeah…. she "cheated on him with his best friend" and he's just the poor victim. Except Rafael stole Petra from Lachlan in the first place, not because he wanted her, but because he was pissed that his dad liked Lachlan better than him. Somehow I don't feel so bad for Rafael getting a comeuppance from Petra. He

I swear… if they kill Michael, I'm done. And I LOVE this show.

I totally agree with you, it would be very weird and disappointing due to the dynamics. And I also hear you about what Petra did. But she also did it because Rafael decided to make her think he was still in love with her. Rafael decided to mess with her emotions and those are the (admittedly really unfortunate

I really really hope they DON'T do the "Rafael isn't the dad" thing. I could easily see Rafael feeling like he's absolved of any necessity to take care of Petra and her daughters and then his only storyline will be moping about Jane more.

I thought he was behaving that way only because Paolo put it in his mind.

I don't know… when he conspired to make Petra think he was in love with her so he could screw her out of her Marbella contract and thus get her out of his life… that was… I mean, I thought that was so cruel. And that he relished such glee at the plan. I understand that many may feel she did enough wrong to get to

I don't know. I just can't sign on to "These two people are the parent of a child and therefore are supposed to be together." It's ideal, sure, to have both parents together in the kid's life, but if that was the way things are, there would be a whole lot of unhappy couples in the world.

See… I'm too much a cynic, perhaps, but it just seemed like they figured out a funny anagram of his name, and then wrote a scene to reflect the anagram.

I mean… it's because you've never watched the show. That's less a grain of salt and more a salt lick, if you'll pardon the tortured metaphor.

Question: Wouldn't it still be completely against the rules for Jane and Mr. Professor to date? He's still a teacher at a school where she's a student. I'm pretty sure most colleges frown on that, regardless of whether or not the student is currently in the teacher's class/their advisee. I couldn't even get into the

Because the first time was a red herring, so that the second time, when he actually did hear it, it would be more dramatic.

I really really don't want them to do that. That could easily be a "stop watching" scenario for me. Don't jump my shark, Jane!

I don't know, I think it's pretty clear that the show is leaning towards Michael and Jane being together. It's possible that's just wishful thinking on my part, but they've already played out the Rafael-Jane romance, I don't know why they'd return to it.
