Your book analogy works, your movie one doesn't, and no.. it's not "stealing" in the traditional sense. No material has been lost, and a purchase that would have never happened hasn't been lost.

+2
Well, price increase, drop in content, Bye bye Netflix sub.. I hate to say Starz actually offered some good movies. Well MPAA, Starz, and everyone else, enjoy more piracy as a result of cancelled Netflix subscriptions. Have fun with your monopoly money, you seem to like it more than the real thing.
isn't it? You don't even need the words. Subtle. Brilliant
I TRIED to watch Atlantis, but it ended up just looking campy. Didn't make it past ep. 12.. I guess SG: Universe is the only one I ever liked. I do like that SyFy exists, but I wish they could get past the spoofy, b-movie feel for me. I love Sci-Fi, just not SyFy
I've never agreed with an author more. I went back and played the original Deus Ex a while ago, but never finished it.. I did the same with system shock, just to have a go.. if not just to see how it had been the inspiration of so many games I had enjoyed.
You know, they should bundle this "update" with new, free content. Hard to watch anyone play but the diehards if the content is the same, gives no one a reason to come back and play imo.
. The world has a lot to learn from Steam, Hulu, Netflix, etc. While individual organizations are trying to copy the model for their specific publications (AKA ABC streaming, Blizzard, EA) they're missing the point.
I load up Marathon: Durandal. What? That's what I thought you meant!
While your reaction is appropriate for those who fly off the handle, it's a bit on the other edge of the spectrum. While you don't want to go back to Toys R Us, or WalMart (I never did, so I don't know why exactly), Gamestop shouldn't be free from community scrutiny.
It really isn't.. the leaked beta blew me away, it was one of the best teasers ever. Even that early in the build, it was amazing. It was obviously built for the PC
The way tech is going, I think the portable gaming market should avoid the pocket.
It's pretty obvious, Mexican food. Like all tourist destinations (gaslamp, convention center area) you're going to a place that serves tourists, not locals. India street has amazing food, and is really a part of SD culture, and it's not too far from downtown.
His videos are pretty amazing. I always thought live action anime fights would never translate well (and haven't with any attempt I've seen)
Never played any uncharted, really. I never really liked Tomb Raider, so I just wrote it off. It doesn't matter how good or compelling a game is if the premise doesn't suit you. If you hate the sound of a trumpet, it doesn't matter if it's Dizzy playing.
Did anyone else see the game chugging to keep up with the action? Looked bad. Also, I think that group of people playing Hello Kitty Island adventure could make it look entertaining.
While Mr. Caffeine was a bit uhm, exuberant, and borderline high-school-cheerleader-pop-star (which added to the "whythe!@#$isthisguyhere" feeling) he was, in fact, a good presenter.
HALF LIFE 3.. ffa
Why so serious???
Duke is more like an old but good Ska band. Youre apologetic for liking it. OP has a good point though, in a world where FPS is taking itself so seriously, and quite honestly becoming a monoculture, I enjoy seeing games like duke
