Actually, it makes the writers dumb because they can't handle the issue of secret identities. People can either see through them or not depending on the needs of the story. Which means Cat and Maggie can figure it out but not Lena or Snapper.

Sure but based on Winn's previous experience with Siobhan I'm guessing it's more about "Oh boy! A hot girl is willing to sleep with me so I don't care what she does!" Now that I think about it, I've been hoping he'd get together with Lena and the possibility she might turn into the next Lex Luthor probably wouldn't

I think she really loved/loves him but family comes first. I don't like that he forgave her so quickly though. Either the sex is truly amazing or he's that desperate.

Regarding Lena's question, when aliens are invading Earth and your bestie is dating one of them it's only natural you're going to be a bit concerned.

Mon-El was created by writer Robert Bernstein and artist George Papp back in 1961. He was based on a character named Halk Kar, who appeared in a Superman comic in 1953 and was created by writer Otto Binder and artist Al Plastino, who also gave us Supergirl: https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…

Except not all White Martians wish us harm. These were friends of M'gann's, who believe as she does.

No.

True, otherwise why put Mon-El in a pod with no food or bathroom and just send him into space? Clearly the pod has a FTL drive of some kind.

Clark is 35 or 36 in the series depending on how old he was when he left Krypton and arrived on Earth (for argument's sake let's say he was 1 year old, which would make him 36). At the beginning of last season it was established that Kara was 24, which would make her 25 or 26 now. She's been on Earth for 13 or 14

Cat isn't coming back. AFAIK, Calista Flockhart still doesn't want to move to Vancouver so they'll need to find a way to walk back her return. Plus, Kara needs a friend outside of work, which means outside of both the DEO and CatCo. I still want to see more focus brought back to the CatCo side of things. I hate that

There's more to her than just Kara's buddy. First, her mere existence reminds us Supergirl is "Superman with a skirt," because there's a Luthor in the mix. It also keeps us in suspense waiting for her to turn evil (or not). No offense but you're proof of that. They also needed a replacement for morally ambiguous Max

She doesn't even need to be Earth's champion. It's her city and her fight. She could easily be National City's champion and, by extension, Earth's. Or Superman could be suffering from the aftereffects of the silver K, or he could be suffering from whatever it is that makes J'onn useless in just about every episode.

Rhea didn't use the silver kryptonite on Kara because if she had they wouldn't have needed to be a fight between them. Plus, who knew how Kara would behave? Superman saw his worst enemy. At that moment, Rhea was Kara's worst enemy so it might not have had any real effect at all.

Mon-El is probably gone. I'm betting Cat isn't back though. AFAIK, Calista Flockhart still isn't willing to relocate to Vancouver, which means they're going to have to walk back her return. And yes, they did a number on Superman. Why not just have Supergirl tell him, "This is my city and my fight. You'd do the same

Supergirl had to beat Rhea in a fight simply because there was no other option. Talk and reasonableness weren't going to get her anywhere. As for filling the atmosphere with lead, the science of that is beyond preposterous. Among other things, to achieve 1 part per billion of lead, they'd have to vaporize 2 cubic

Probably. Then again, pretty much every episode highlights how bad the writing is in some way (only Mon-El thinking something was "off" about Jeremiah, J'onn not being able to read Rick Malvern's mind, etc.)

I'm glad someone else remembered that Supergirl couldn't fly in space (according to Alex, she can't "generate thrust." What?!) while Superman could be "off world" according to Kelex. It would have been better to just have Supergirl tell him, "This is my city and those were my friends Rhea kidnapped. This is my fight.

That's right, there's still a kid isn't there? Rhea and company had already taken hair samples from Lena and Mon-El, hadn't she? I'd forgotten about that and the writers probably have too.

Agreed. I've said before each episode should have a Supergirl story, a Kara story, and a secondary character story. I want to see more of Kara the reporter. I want to see her be good at it for a change. Katie McGrath said in an interview that she'd rather Lena didn't figure out Kara's secret identity because Kara

Yeah, that's been a major fail for me. Kara said she's been to a dozen planets back in the Thanksgiving episode in season 1, which implies space travel was fairly common. Why didn't more people escape? This is simply bad writing and the lack of a series Bible.
