He had Guardian convicted because he's a vigilante, he had Lena convicted because she's a Luthor. He may not "hate" them but there's an element of prejudice involved. In the case of Lena he specifically said "Yesterday she was guilty, today she's not guilty." He didn't say "the evidence pointed to her being guilty,"

Yes. Season 4 episode 4 "The one with the ballroom dancing" referred to it as an "illegal sublet." Last episode (#20) Kara referred to her apartment as a "loft" which would make the rent about $2100-2350. Honestly, in a show full of implausible stuff that's kinda low on my list of quibbles.

Agreed. I get that there are going to be conflicts between characters/people. That's life and if there weren't there wouldn't be much of a story. But make the conflicts and motivations realistic and consistent.

I have no idea where the Green Lantern Corps reference came from. I mentioned the Legion of Superheroes in passing and that they were headquartered on Earth but that's all.

I'd say it's tied with The Guardian. I never wanted Mon-El to be in the pod and I definitely don't want him around next season.

Tony Maglio wrote in The Wrap that The Nightly Show lost over half its potential audience and two thirds of millennials because Wilmore didn't have enough Twitter followers: http://www.thewrap.com/nigh… Please raise your hand if you actually think that was the real reason, and that neither Wilmore's content nor style

Not offended, I simply disagree. Sorry but I saw something different from what you did. I saw Alex saying "Come on, sweetie, you can eat this, it's okay. We want you to be all right. We're good guys." Which they are, BTW. It's "not a quantum leap" but it is an assumption, one you can't really support. I suppose it has

All the characters behave, are as smart, and are as powerful as the story needs, in every episode. Better writing would solve a multitude of problems. James, who is wearing an ominous looking suit and beating up on some guy, is surprised that a traumatized woman is afraid of him. J'onn, who lets just anyone waltz into

Yeah, I wish they'd given Sorbo more to do. It seemed a shame not to have him around a little longer even though Hatcher was always the bigger draw for fans.

Well said. I have friends and coworkers who are female, gay, black, Native American, etc. I don't know of any who want to be straight while men like me. They just want to be treated as human beings. That said, James responding to every problem by beating the crap out of someone is what isn't helping his image. I get

Season 3 has been confirmed. The news came out about a month ago. Originally in the comics Mon-El ended up in the Phantom Zone with occasional references in Superboy and the Legion of Superheroes before his lead weakness was finally cured. They could put him in suspended animation in a chamber next to Bizarro and

I rewatched parts of the episode last night and there was a triple helix shaped gizmo in Lena's lab that was maybe 6 feet high, mounted on a tall pedestal. I thought that was the portal until the end when they showed ships coming through a portal that had to be hundreds of feet across.

Thanks. I have to wonder, just how long have aliens been arriving on Earth? J'onn has apparently been here a while. The DEO was in existence at least 13 or 14 years ago when Kara came to Earth, presumably alerted to the existence of aliens by Superman's appearance. What about the President? Was she born here? If not,

Yeah, I'm convinced we won't see the Mon-El suit or, if we do, it will be for a few fleeting moments in the season finale. Jeremy Jordan said last year Winn still had feelings for Kara and that it would come up it hasn't. There's a certain making-it-up-as-we-go-along quality to this stuff.

Actually you're assuming the "entire organization" knows. We've seen one branch, in National City. Wouldn't there be a branch in, say, Metropolis since there's at least one alien there? Presumably Superman has fought aliens in the past. Alex was flying to Geneva on DEO business in the Pilot, which implies that the DEO

I understood the Superman-under-mind-control, nature vs. nurture thing but they were just so awful about there always being some reason he couldn't help out, like J'onn's telepathy always being useless this season. I kinda liked the trope of keeping Superman just out of sight though. I love the Alien Dive Bar™ but I

Happy belated birthday.

I also hope he's not around next season. There are a couple of reasons, the first of which is that there are too many characters and it dilutes them all. I was sorry Mon-El and M'gann were coming aboard and I was glad when she left. Now if we could get rid of Mon-El and Lyra, we'd be off to an excellent start. The

And the "reboot" didn't exactly go smoothly. I'm glad they're done with the awful Ft. Rozz plot-line but the Alien Dive Bar™ that just sorta appeared has its own issues. To begin, how are J'onn and Alex, who keep track of aliens for a living, somehow not aware of its existence? It also gives us the oh-so-relevant

There "is a less goofy look to all the villains this season," is an understatement. Red Tornado was possibly the low mark for season 1 but Silver Banshee wasn't great either. All the evil Kryptonians just looked interchangeable.
