I said last time she could get a job working for Lena, say in PR, or J'onn could actually start paying her since he's been treating her like an employee all along anyway. But yeah, they need to flesh out her "other" life. If CatCo is gone that means all the CatCo characters might as well be gone: James, Snapper, etc.

Please, no. I'm still hoping Winn will start dating Vasquez.

I've been one of the people saying Mon-El was going to be gone after this season. Frankly, I *want* him gone for the reasons you mentioned. More characters means less time for the characters who are there already. More Kara+Mon-El means less Alex, less James, less Winn, etc. More Kara+Mon-El relationship angst means

That was a major "Wait, what?!" thing for me. For one thing, how would it even work? Some kind of alien pigment in her skin? I mean, surely her people figured out a way, right? Years ago there was a Star Trek Next Generation story that featured a soldier who was undetectable. Except that he was visible, he still had

All of us are honest to the extent that we don't care about our privacy. I presume you don't go around giving strangers or even friends your ATM PIN. Kara keeping her identity secret is the equivalent of saying "None of your business."

Lena's company sells an alien detector for people who don't like or trust aliens. She might pass it off as "It's not personal, it's just business," but there's a reason her company developed the device and a reason she doesn't see anything wrong with it.

Because there's a difference between lying as a convenience and keeping some things private. No contortion necessary. Being the prince of a planet full of slavers is one thing, merely being an alien is another.

For my part, I didn't. "You used me and you were going to let me go to prison for your crime? Okay, we're still good because you had good reasons. I still love you." I'm a huge Winn fan and I want him to have somebody. I was thinking Agent Vasquez at one point and even Lena Luthor but please, not Lyra.

And given how thoroughly bad, implausible, and cliche ridden the Winn B-plot was that's a shame except for the fact that we got to see Jeremy Jordan exercise his acting chops.

Yes and the addition of Mon-El isn't helping at all. All the Mon-El being a bad boyfriend time could be spent on stuff happening at CatCo, where there are characters that are actually interesting.

Good question. I loved the bit with the two of them under the table tinkering with the phase generator gizmo or whatever it was. And Winn's "It's not what you think" line afterward was priceless.

I've never been real clear on why Krypton exploded in the series. Something to do with Kryptonians mucking up the environment? Previously in the comics it was depicted as a natural disaster. I do find it a bit much to have the Kryptonians getting blamed for a natural disaster even if they contributed to it. Daxam can

Her superhero mentors were J'onn and Cat. She spent one episode last season with Barry and she didn't even meet Oliver until this season.

Xenophobic, perhaps? Or just plain prejudiced?

^ See my reply above for a couple of valid reasons why Mon-El should be a one season character. Another is that he makes the show less Supergirl centric and dilutes the interactions of the remaining characters. Whether they'll make him one is another story.

I've been saying for a while that we probably won't see him next season but I could be wrong. I do know we *shouldn't* see him next season for reasons having to do with both canon and basic storytelling. First, if they're even remotely following the comics he's destined to end up in the future with the Legion of

Frankly I thought the Winn plot was exceedingly dumb ("Hey, let's break into the museum and have sex." "Okay, sounds good to me.") and cliche ridden ("I'll give you 24 hours, then I'm coming after you to arrest you.") And what was up with Lyra's race not being able to be photographed? Some explanation would be nice

I see a couple of possibilities. One is that J'onn starts paying her since he's been treating her like an employee all along. Another is that Lena offers her a job, say in PR. For that matter, if Lena ever figures out she has a CADMUS mole in her office she's going to need a new assistant.

Yes, last season was about Kara's journey to becoming Supergirl. But now she *is* Supergirl and the plot line of her mentoring Mon-El was supposed to be the culmination of that. This season we got teased that we were going to see her journey to becoming a reporter. Except we didn't and now she's apparently not even

Yeah, that was just awful. "Hey, let's break into the museum and have sex." "Sounds good to me."
