I say around Season 12-13. I don't think people talked about anything widely after Imaginationland except maybe the Kanye West episode. Other than that they went on auto-pilot until around last year when they started experimenting with continuity. Hopefully the upward trajectory continues.
I put this three-parter above The Coon and the Game of Thrones spoof but below Imaginationland which I guess is still high praise. This episode was hilarious. Laughed so hard when Jimmy got busted hiding behind the bush. The whole arc with the bar girl Nina was worth it for that one joke.

I wonder how this happened, Is Rick and Morty getting great ratings in Carls Jr demographic? Or is someone in their marketing department a fan and convinced the company using decent ratings and popularity among their desired demographic?
