Eddie is on another show that is doing relatively well and films on another coast.

Someone in the comments brought up a great point that I missed: Barry should have been way more suspicious of Patty than of Jay.
Great critique but it would have been even better if it were broken down into smaller paragraphs.
I do! I care! re: your hard water/heavy water explanation.
It's obvious the writers don't know what to do with Iris and they've settled with making her Joe lite. Yawn. No storyline. No personality. A total snooze.
Doubt the writers are playing the long con with this; but it would be amazing if they were.
Calm down. I just stated an opinion.
Gone Girl passage:
All last night, I couldn't help but think what it was about Patty that I wasn't comfortable with and then I realized…she's the 'cool girl' (Gone Girl reference), of whom, there is no such thing.
The difference in tone was certainly jarring but the episode grade remains the same.
What happened to the other reviewer?
You are entitled to your opinion. However, you don't need to attack and belittle others in the process.
LOL!
You are not wrong.
One can be 2 out of 3 but rarely ever (never!) 3.
She's a cop. What exactly does triple majoring in the hard sciences inform us about her character?
What more can there possibly be? We heard her whole life story in one episode!
When you consider the fact that The Flash steals many storylines from Arrow, I don't think the writers have any qualms at all about repeating themselves.
Carl has been on the show since the very beginning. It's one thing to confuse new characters with one another but to confuse a new character with an old one? I'm sorry, there's absolutely no excuse for that.
Um, Carl is pretty amazing - which means a lot coming from me…hater of all children/teenagers in adult shows.
