The more I think about it, this episode did set up a lot for the future. The Rogues are essentially created for the second season, the RF is caught, Eddie and Iris are done with.

It also makes sense that Ray wouldn't be there to help them fight Thawne since he's currently locked up.

I know earlier in the season Thawne was worried that Barry wouldn't become the Flash anymore in the future I forgot the circumstances surrounding that now and when Barry went one day into the past there seemed to be an alternate timeline that was created in which Cisco was killed and Cisco wasn't killed.

And Joe's point is that Barry isn't Ollie, I don't think it was an insult on Ollie as much as Joe saying that Barry needed to do his own thing. Ollie could have pulled that plan off because Ollie wouldn't trust Snart and have a back-up plan in case. It's akin to Superman trying to act like Batman.

Jonah himself still likes to feel important so sometimes he can't just help himself, so he goes in with the idea of screwing Dan over but his self-delusions on how important he is causes him to actually try and help and of course it backfires because he's really inept.

Yea Doyle strikes me as blue dog Democrat which makes sense in why Selina would tap him as her VP, Doyle would help get her those southern states. Also her supporters would more than likely vote Democrat

Really after seeing how terrible the other politicians are as people, Selina's administration is the lesser of two evils.

I disagree a little bit, Dan definitely has a moral center it's a very small one but it's there. He's shown that he has a conscience but his conscience doesn't overtake his ambition.

I think they were sleeping together but Sue ended it in the only way she can and then she just mocks his failures. I like that Sue saw their FWB as a business relationship and nothing more.

Selina seems like she's pretty good in the foreign policy department, I can see why she would be happy with being compared to Nixon if that's how they're comparing her.

Was he actually trying to stop the bullets or just trying to get inside in order to tackle "Wells" to move him away from the bullets.

Considering people didn't even catch that spark 10 minutes earlier and were complaining about her finding out that way, I think it was that scene was there earlier.

I don't know, Robbie is pretty popular and there's so much potential there for the Stein/Ronnie version of Firestorm especially if Kaitlyn becomes "Killer Frost." Then they can introduce Jason Rusch and have him replace Ronnie Raymond down the road.

I think Arrow has proven the "I can't let my loved ones know my secret identity" trope is well dumb. there's really no reason why any of the characters have lied to each other so much or why Thea was kept in the dark for so long I feel the same way about "The Flash" keeping her in the dark hasn't necessarily protected

Thinking about what you said maybe because it's destiny that they do get married that sounds corny but it's a thought, some kind of force that makes sure Barry and Iris are married.

While it's not the best CW show, iZombie is a pretty fun show to watch, I know they're totally different shows but I find it more entertaining than The Walking Dead.

Even then they still kissed but by that time, Felicity was in love with Oliver and Barry is in love with Iris, so they knew it wouldn't work out. Which kinda sucks because Barry/Felicity were fun together and had great chemistry. I'm not saying that as a shipper either.

You can believe what you want but last night wasn't a filler episode, a filler episode would be two episodes ago when Felicity and Ray Palmer stopped by. It didn't really advance the plot until the very end when Barry lets Cisco and Kaitlyn in on his plan to out Wells as the Reverse Flash. It was just a breather

I figured with Thawne being from the future he just knows what's going to happen ahead of time and he's prepared for any scenario that happens, he's time traveled multiple times and knows that there are multiple branches that can happen, so he just happens to be crazy prepared and since he's faster than Barry at this

You're making mountains out of molehills, in real life, 99.99% of the time, the men in Eddie's position react the same way "Fuck you I'm proposing to her anyway" and 99.99% of the time, the woman still has to say "Yes" or "no" Eddie's only asking Joe out of courtesy and to keep the peace just to say that he did ask
