could be waiting a while though couldn't you?

is the whole 'firing at people's feet' thing a walking dead invention? doesn't make any logical sense, so it's likely. weird how the bad guys can't display that accuracy when they need to kill someone

making an executive decision not to get in any debates about 'who it was'. all it does is legitimize the cynical cockstains behind the show

did Negan not say ' *he's* taking it like a champ' or is that line from the comic and i'm imagining it was said last night?

"Certainly, Glen is trying to pull Daryl back into the reality and gravity of the situation, and Daryl is too lost in his own battle to hear him."

the problem is they kind of did this in season 2, when he was still (i think) clinging to the sheriff in him.

oh give it a rest with the 'look what you idiots are missing', donny. trees, really? i'm finding it pretty hilarious that you see that back-and-forth between Glenn and Daryll to be profound; all i can remember is 'come back! this isn't going to bring her back!' 'i can't…i have to do this'. wow, there's just so many

was an awful lot of blood for a bullet in the shoulder. it probably is exactly as you say, but it's typically weirdly done

unbelievably irritating

is the sign-off always necessary?

the dialogue reminds me more than anything else of Lost at its worst. it's so portentous and self-conscious that it's obvious that the writers actually think it's 'deep' and dramatic, but you know…it's not really that clever.
i really feel for the actors sometimes, trying to sell the lines they're given.

yeah but the guy's not that good an actor, let's be honest

i don't understand that whole Talking Dead thing in general. i miss the pre-social media days** when actors completely disappeared into their roles instead of treating their characters like promo opportunities. do people not find that it undercuts the darkness or the immersion of the show to have the actors goofing

i thought the stabbing people in their sleep was their darkest hour yet (also people keep bringing up the Polaroids, ignoring the fact that they'd already made the decision to murder these guys before they saw any of those).

i get the impression this happens a lot with the show. Witt mentioned in an interview that her death was meant to be gorier, but something malfunctioned and they couldn't/wouldn't do a retake. but we've seen it loads of times, the most infamous (and perhaps understandable) being the car falling off the bridge. it

yes, this.

thought it was a macabre touch to hear Paula go from screaming to gargling in the background

why is Alicia Witt such a big deal with everyone, out of interest? i only know her from Urban Legend and she wasn't great in that.

re: the dialogue, the writers probably think it's deep.
re: the tying up, agreed, that was farcical, the part where Carol comes in and Maggie is just casually cutting herself free, just laughed at that (and where did the girl go that was guarding her)

probably the death of that child whose head she was filling up with shit, which was signposted by the writers in the last episode. also Morgan getting into her head maybe
