Agreed

Agreed, all those things you mentioned are interesting. I don't know why they don't just stick to them. There's plenty of content there to explore and develop.

Maybe not for the animation quality, but for the storytelling quality, there's no excuse.

I also resent Disney for not finishing the series. It was great. At least they did Ventress justice by completing her arc in great detail in a great novel. I read about Ahsokas, Obi-wan's and Satines final clone wars arcs in online articles and it felt cheap. What a shame to not do those incredible stories justice.

Wasn't season 6 released on Netflix after Disney purchased LucasFilms. Whether it was before or after, I don't think it went through Cartoon Network

While it's midweek…I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on Ashoka at this point. Do you think Star Wars Rebels will explore her arc at all this season?

I would argue that destroying the Death Star leaned more strongly towards defense. They were coming for them, for the rebel base, and the power of the weapon to wipe out an entire people was known. That's what they were destroying. That said, I watched Return of the Jedi recently and did notice the insensitivity to

I wonder if they would actually do that? Let Zeb die? It would make for more complexity in the story, but the show seems so committed to these five. What do others think?

Surprisingly, for a filler (except the last few minutes), I felt fairly entertained by this episode. I liked the pacing, appreciated that it made a connection to the bigger plot, and found AP-5 funny. Here are my concerns: despite the fact that there was idiocracy in the plot: why unassumingly take a droid who

I thought this episode was pretty good for Rebels, here's why and what was lacking:

I really liked this episode. I got so excited when they went to Dathomir. This was one of the subplots and subcultures I found most intriguing during TCW that culminated beautifully and deeply in the Dark Disciple book.
