…when did I say I was complaining? Or imply that the vocabulary was too large? I was pointing out that it was an unusual phrase…that made sense within the context of the characters' behavior. You can accuse me of overanalyzing, maybe, but I wasn't complaining.

So the phrase "loopdy-loop" is coming up a lot this season. First Rebecca made up a weird song using that phrase as its main line (and the song itself had basically the same melody as "Makey Makey Makeover"). Then Rebecca, Valencia, and Heather kept coming back to it in their discussion of Josh. It's not a common

That's your interpretation.

Does anyone else wonder if ASP is trying to draw a parallel between Naomi and Emily? When Rory was meeting with Naomi to discuss their book, she brought up the idea of not writing a memoir, but rather a children's book about a whale, in which she WAS the whale. And Emily ends her arc giving presentations about whales

Well, she didn't totally ignore season 7, though. Lorelai and Christopher's marriage and divorce are mentioned several times in the revival. So she knows the bare bones…just not some of the more in-depth stuff.

Badgers!

In Appleton, Wisconsin?

Yep. Absurdity has always been my style of humor, and it's the type of answers that I play and reward in both ATA and CAH.

But Cal might have killed him, if Rose had left on the lifeboat then.
The most tragic thing, though, was how many wasted spaces there were on all of those lifeboats.

Yep. My first thought when she was in her quandary was "you have a daughter, therefore you have an easy source of untainted female urine."
I'm glad they eventually reached that conclusion, though I wish the condom trick had actually worked.

I agree that it was rushed and not well-developed enough. However, as with ATLA, TLOK is going to be continued in graphic novel form, and so that will allow the creators to further explore their relationship.

The whole wedding scene was so weird. I knew when the crew were talking to each other about it at first, it was intended to be a surprise, but I thought that that "surprise" angle had been dropped by the time the actual ceremony started, because otherwise everyone looks ridiculous. There are rows and rows of white

I'm wondering if Adam will reappear…

Yeah, last season he had his share of underhandedness as well.

Especially because he and Romeo had a falling-out a few weeks ago after Darius took Rachel's advice instead of Romeo's, and he missed out on what could have been a lot of quality time with his best friend/brother because of it…oof. If Romeo ends up dying, I can only imagine how devastated and betrayed Darius will

That actually makes perfect sense. I wish they'd explore that more.

I was thinking rampaging dinosaurs and boiling lava, a la Fantasia.

And Kanto cities are colours while Johto cities are plants.

Perfect.

Being a ridiculously annoying protagonist.
