Why does every comment thread about this show need to devolve into someone accusing someone of being someone else? I have no idea if Lobachev is Shannon or not (no way to prove or disprove things this time), but they certainly seem more articulate than Shannon ever did. If Shannon got deleted, great. If she

I really hope they don't create MRA Danny.

Yeah, it was sad. She's still kind of clinging to an ideal…and maybe she's finally realizing that that what she's fantasized about for so long isn't what she truly wants. It can be such a letdown.

Yay! I like Eliza Coupe.

it doesn't ring true all of a sudden for Danny to take marriage off the table because Mindy won't do what he wants.
It makes sense to me that they took marriage off the table, or rather postponed things—that's actually a smart move, if you're fighting that much…I just wish it had been Mindy who actually suggested the

Yep. I really hope they just talk, like humans, to each other. I don't want to see another breakup/make-up dragged-out plotline like in season 2.

This is what I mean by all the weird bullshit in these threads. Nearly every week, there's more of this.

Uh, what? Her comment history goes back weeks. This Alex person seems irritating, but I'm not seeing the connection.

Yeah, that was always one of those things that made me wonder about really dramatic movies—not even necessarily good ones, but movies where the protagonists go through a lot of stuff. The Star Wars prequels, for example: TPM had Obi- Wan and Padmé going through a lot of crazy stuff and being pretty unaffected. i'm

I'm two years older than you, and I feel like I need to get cracking on that great American novel or whatever.

I can't see "Guest's" comments, but I'm upvoting everyone who thinks he's a jerk…

Wow. I would not have guessed Tunisian.

Same. Her delivery and general demeanor reminded me so much of my grandmother.

Possibly one of my favorite movies. I adore Simi. (Her actress weirdly went on to play Jessminder's mom in Bend It Like Beckham…also, since Upadhyaya mentions Archie Panjabi's character in The Good Wife here…Panjabi was Jessminder's sister.)

I did too, and I remember really liking Tenel Ka/Dathomir, but I doubt they'd hold up if I read them again as an adult.

Good choice.

I actually would prefer reading screenplays, at least some of the time. Going to the theater is expensive. The seats are uncomfortable. Other people are annoying. There are lots of films that sound great, plot-wise, and since a lot of my favorites tend to be rather heavy on the dialogue and character development

His voice is creepy as fuck, too.

Thank you for saying this, I had the same reaction to them. I got to the part where he goes down into the basement with the trapped woman, and closed that window on my browser. It was…like watching someone with the mindset of Jabba the Hutt review Star Wars.

Yeah, he was also in an episode of ER sometime around then, and while he was the typical precocious-child-actor, he wasn't totally wooden.
