Most of your story makes me cringe with pain, but I'm hearing the last line in Tommy Wiseau's voice.

Oh, and an episode of The Care Bears where everything became grey. That kind of encroaching, hard-to-see-as-it-happens, boiling-frog bleakness has always creeped me out.
1. Once Upon a Forest
2. The part in Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too where everyone gets lost either in the woods or around the sandpit. (The music contributed.)
Yeah, I could smell that plotline coming from a mile away, but I was really happy that they included it.
I don't think that was a rental car…unless I missed something. (Do rental car lots in Manhattan rent Lexuses?) I assumed it was his car, that he hardly ever drives.
Yeah, it's silly…but also absolutely intentional on their part. If I remember correctly from an interview I read a few years ago, the name started as a joke between the two of them…but then they realized they both really liked the name Marshall, and went with it.
They WERE loud. It was marvelous.
It's English, but with some unusual terms…
Same here. It IS long, but I still love it. (Also, my husband and I actually took a day trip to Nevada City a few years back—my uncle lives near there—and Have One on Me is amazingly perfect for driving through that part of California on a warm fall day.)
I listened to about half of the new album on the way to work today (I'm still at work). I love it, but I know I won't fully appreciate it until I have time to read through all the lyrics, though.
He does have a curator: Bob, old-time spaghetti Western lover. I'm guessing Bob's equally into nostalgic TV.
That scared the crap out of me and COMPLETELY removed me from thinking in terms of plot twists and such. I was unsettled.
Maybe I'm thinking too much, but if it's heaven, wouldn't everyone get everything they want and not know any differently? So Jack and Mr. Rose have never been waiting, she's always been there, for their souls at least. And when she dies, she can have either man or BOTH, and not upset either of their heavens.
Who?
Depressingly realistic
Best reference ever.
Hep Alien needs to keep on going. Corin Tucker made it work, why not Lane?

Yeah…disappointing as heck. I want more of the Kims.
Maybe she could return for just one segment? Maybe she's off teaching cooking at some big cooking school in New York or California but visits Stars Hollow for a weekend.
