Yeah, I can't wait to see it. Sounds like "Avatar" all over again, in some respects.

Imogen that!

Yeah, I saw the trailer a while ago in the theater, and it had me hooked right away, so I'm avoiding reading the review too (beyond the first couple of paragraphs, anyway), but I'm pretty excited about the grade. This looks awesome.

I liked "Begin Again" quite a bit, but the music was so bland that it never made any sense that everyone went gaga over it. The music in "Once" had heart and was unique (the recording session in that movie was such a joyful piece of musical cinema), so you understood why the characters lived for it.

Yeah, I agree there. Mostly because of the kind of bland performance the actors in the band put forth. They didn't really sell it as well as they could've from a comedy standpoint.

As a Christian, I just thought it was hilarious.

Absolutely. The Middle has managed to take its family through all the stages of school and work and keep the characters true to themselves but developed them naturally, with family, friends and acquaintances drifting in and out of focus in a somewhat realistic fashion. It's one of the best sitcoms of all time, as far

Yeah, I agree. My main problems with it are the same ones it's always had: Cam and Mitchell are a terrible pair and the child actors (now it should probably be "child" actors) are godawful with the exception of Ariel Winter. That won't change apparently, so you either accept it or stop watching.

I agree it was an oversight by the writers in favor of drama. I'm sure they thought about it, but decided against it - you can justify his not calling by saying that Mike assumed that the truck would be discovered by a passing motorist and the motorist would call the cops, a reasonable assumption. But the Mike we know

Master of None is the most overrated Netflix show so far. It was frankly barely average most of the time, especially when Ansari's parents were on screen.

If it's LESS grounded, I'm definitely out.

"Why would a group whose big hit is against homosexuality have been so
friendly to Cam and Mitchell throughout the entire episode and even
accepted a gay man as their drummer?"

"I haven't heard much Christian rock, but I'm almost certain it tends more toward blandly inspirational than overtly bigoted."

I think they considered it, but realistically, Chuck doesn't have enough of a case to move forward with it if the copy shop clerk doesn't even corroborate Jimmy's being there. To an outsider, Chuck's case will sound like the rantings of a lunatic, coupled with his "electricity allergy".

You have it wrong.

Great write up! This was a fantastic episode.

I don't care if Jimmy becomes Saul, but I hope they never do something in order to do it "as soon as possible". What I love about this show is that it always follows through on a situation (as did Breaking Bad). A lesser show would not have delved into Jimmy having to cover his copy shop tracks, just skipped over it

Excellent analysis.

I don't think this review or anyone in comments is apologizing for the pace, only trying to point out that anyone who says the show is slow is simply wrong.

Where's the thrill in that?
