five bucks as I recall. Father gave away ten. Take out the cigarettes and that makes it even in the mind of a small boy. The point, however, is that Chuck was assuming the big shortfall was solely on the part of Jimmy, which was wrong.

He did pocket the money from the cigarettes, but from that little episode it seems most of the unaccounted money was the result of their father's generosity.
Chuck is getting what he deserves. This is a long overdue payback. As the intro in last week's episode showed, it wasn't Jimmy robbing from the till, but their father giving away money to persons he believed were in distress. On a broader level, The major problem with this show is the premise. If Richie wanted to start a leaner meaner record label, why not sign the deal with the "Krauts," and take his money and start a new label, which is essentially what he wants to do anyway. But, I guess that was too easy, so the writers contrive this…
Good review. I think what is hurting this series is that Richie is such a shitbag from the beginning. At least with Tony Soprano, he lived by some form of code and maintained his family life for the better part of four seasons before it fell apart due to his many infidelities. In this way we could identify with…
Oh the weary tangles we weave. This whole season has been such a downer. Honestly, can't we get a little comic relief? It wouldn't be so bad if Vince and Colin could pull off their dreary characters, but they look like they took too many quaaludes. I was beginning to wonder who would fall asleep first at the…
