There needs to be more Rush contests.

I have always loved this song and don't really understand the hate regardless of how many essays or interviews I read that denounce the song (which has been quite a few).

Sick beats and shaking off haters….I don't know if that is cultural appropriation because it is so lame that it sounds like a 45 year old white dude wrote it.

Why do Southern Baptists take such a hard stance against pre-marital sex? Because it could lead to dancing.

Hopefully Radkey changes that. I know they are from St. Joseph but I'm still counting it as KC.

I was about 50 pages in before I realized that Willis has a few other novels and short stories about time traveling historians from Oxford. I had a moment of, "Oh, no I'm doing reading wrong!" Anyway, I plan on finishing Blackout but I am not sure if I will jump right in to All Clear. I guess it will depend on what

That would have been a mark out moment for me.

I am about 200 pages into Blackout by Connie Willis. I really do like the concept and the way she describes life in England during the war made me realize how woefully ignorant I am of WW2 history (especially when it comes to the war prior to the U.S. entering). I will need to remedy that at some point. That being

I don't know…weekend in Oklahoma City or weekend in Denver where weed is legal. I will gladly spend two extra hours in the car.

Beaumont got behind on it's bills I think. Lost a lot of acts to Uptown, Midland, and Record Bar.

I think that a good portion of Peep Show is on YouTube. A few wonderful souls even tend to upload new episodes the day after they air in England (of course that's when Peep Show is actually airing which isn't fucking often enough).

That wasn't my first purchase but I know I bought that CD when it came out. I can only recall the songs by Seal, U2, and Brandy but looking at the track listing it shows a weirdly eclectic mix. It blows my mind that Massive Attack, PJ Harvey, Sunny Day Real Estate, Nick Cave, and Method Man were also on that

I think it may have been a cassette of Dangerous by Michael Jackson or maybe Totally Krossed out by Kriss Kross (or maybe both) when I was six or seven years old.

I think that is true in the first two or three season. He is a guy who was cheated on and he is put in a situation that is difficult to navigate. He often times does try to do be civil even if he is hurt and sometimes he just can't help but lash out at Susan (who is actually kind of a jerk herself). It's just odd how

I think Ross was the character that was the most unevenly written. At times he comes across as narcissistic and petulant but still a somewhat decent guy who is capable of growth. At other times he is basically the cartoonish villain who gets his comeuppance at the end of the episode. He also seems to have suffered

I think they are friendly with one another so I wouldn't be surprised if McMahon takes aspects of Trump's personality and turns them up a notch when he plays heel.

The oddest part of the show was Ross and his relationship with Carol and Susan. He often comes across as hurt by Carol's decision but still encouraging of her relationship with Susan (even giving away Carol at her and Susan's wedding when Carol's parents refused to go) and at other times he is full blown homophobic.

It would be fantastic if Rabin was still reviewing TV here and was assigned to watch Friends. He would have a field day with all the "gay panic" jokes. Also, I know he wrote an essay apologizing for creating the "manic pixie girl" phrase but I don't think he could help but use that phrase to describe Phoebe. And the

Speaking of Tajiri, I recently watched an old ECW match of his on youtube. He was up against Steve Corino and the story line was basically that Corino was working for the network (TNN) and was recruiting a faction. Tajiri initially agreed to join up but then backed out. Corino belittled him for backing out and then
