To be fair, the last issue of the comics took place in "The future?" - Zub deliberately left room for a more definitive ending while still offering a possible one.
Thoughts on the idea that the show was ahead of its time? It does seem more common - even expected - for cartoons today to have continuing storylines and

It worked well in Rising Tides/Crashing Skies, that's for sure.

They can't abide 'em even now and then!

I liked Amethyst's dramatic reading of Ronaldo's farewell post.

I usually like Gayle and, as starling said, even see myself in her, to a degree. It's disappointing, then, when she's the self-unaware burden on the Belchers, especially in the context of another plot about them missing out on another chance to get, if not ahead, slightly less far behind. Of course it's a TV show and

Wow. I loved the use of the room as a way for Steven to sort of lay out his various feelings about his mother - especially when "Rose" reminded him of the tape. His new information about her doesn't negate the old. And an A+ for Zach Callison's acting. For me, this beat "Adventures in Light Distortion", no question.

Me (in my head): IT'S HAPPENING!!! :D

"There's a light on this printer that won't light on one side. So I'm taking it back to my workshop, my dear. I'll fix it up there and I'll bring it back here."

I really hope that comes up again.

The Gene and Courtney Show

Oh yeah!
"Eddy, I too am thirsty! Quite partial, to be correct." "PARCHED! The word you're looking for is PARCHED!" "Yeah right, Lumpy! Parched is a fish!"
Classic.

Drawing/Q&A stream? Aw, I wish I had been home for that.

Not to mention a real guy breaker.

- "We are the Crystal Temps, we'll occasionally save the day…"
- I was so convinced this one was airing yesterday and so confused as to why I couldn't even find any illicit uploads on the Internet yet.
- Did Connie's voice sound higher than usual to anyone else?
- Yay, Pumpkin goes where Lapis and Peridot go!
- Can we

There's Jeff, at least.

*Amethyst-as-Pearl voice* Well of course she can! She's perfect! WOMP WOMP!

Gorgeous.
- I loved the special version of the theme song.
- And the quick check-in with NEPTR.
- And Marcy seeing them off with Bubblegum and Fern.
- Speaking of dystopias, the song about the Founders gave me a Snowpiercer vibe.
- "Dang, I missed big words!" Just when you thought Susan couldn't get any cooler.
- Minerva

I was a Chipettes fan.
