Very glad that Evie found a way to cheer up her grandpa without endangering the greater driving public.

Poor John. Couldn't Mary have pulled Sherlock away, or tackled him, or taken the bullet in a different part of her body, or SOMETHING?

- Yay, a Pushing Daisies mention!
- Yay, another Big Familial Gesture!
- Do you think "Roxanne" is something Deirdre would've watched even if she wasn't sick? I feel like no, but then again, she is a secret romance novelist.
- I was quite happy with the smart relationship decisions made this time around, but am currently

No, you're right, that's what she did. It's Russian roulette - the person loads just one bullet, spins the cylinder, then shoots, so there's only a one-in-six chance they get the chamber with the bullet (which is still one too many, of course).

- "Give her reverse CPR, doi!"
- Are they setting it up for Erica to go with Lewis when/if he leaves to look for Mark?
- I hope there's a plan besides leaving Melissa alone in that room indefinitely, because that's certainly not going to "cure" her. Getting Bertha Rochester vibes, here.
- That is, when I wasn't getting

All it was missing was a shot of the lie detector as Evie and Xavier started kissing, showing her heart rate speeding up.

- "Is that a sex thing?" That's how I respond to unfamiliar slang, too!
- Did it bother anyone else that Kareema was wearing a flamenco-esque costume but they weren't dancing to that type of music?
- Speaking of blind spots, Deirdre's marrying Pete again after divorcing him twice? Well, I guess it's not a risk if you

Not to mention Melissa not really caring that she couldn't remember where she was. "Melissa, you've been gone for two days." "Oh. Okay."

Louis is completely unfazed by Phil's shenanigans. He's officially one of the group!

"She wanted this so much. I just…don't understand why." That line was the heartbreaker for me.

"Self-appointed guardian angel of fun" is an excellent way of putting it. It reminds me of an earlier episode when he said he wanted to be a positive force in her life (rather than in a mutually supportive relationship between equals - I know those aren't mutually exclusive but the way he said it rubbed me the wrong

I feel like "choosing my beliefs over doing what you tell me to" would've been a better way to frame the dilemma than "friends vs. girlfriend".

Yeah, there seemed to be too much apologizing from Evie and not enough from Xavier at the end, there. And "Not Feelin' It" days? Nice in a perfect dream world, I guess, but then who would ever go to work? Can we call them personal days and at least make a show of maturity?
Also:
- "Secondhand teeth". More like

I like that Linda's imagination is a crayon drawing.

I was just going to say that a group from my church usually does. They provide their own hot chocolate, though.

Here are my top 5, excluding Stakes:

Oh, also - how can Kareema only play one song? All she has to do is shake the tambourine to the beat.

Evie's sister. She was in the first few episodes.

I like Mighty Magiswords, too.
