I'm just glad we all made it through those Eugenics Wars in the late 90's.

They've got until October.

You've obviously never met a vegan.

It's obviously an adaptation of the movie and not the story. What gets me the most is not that it ignores the short story, but it seems to not even know that the ss exits.

PKD's endings are almost always better than the film adaptations. Minority Report comes straight to mind.

PDK was all about what is and isn't real as well as what humanity is. We Can Remember It for You Wholesale. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. King of the Elves. About half his writing is about it.

My friend and I are big PKD fans. We too felt that this was the closest adaptation that he's ever gotten on film when we saw it. It's also one of the better B sci-fi films of the era.

That was a good part of my work last week.

Can it give worms to ex-boyfriends?

This isn't a Michael Bay film.

Urban legend. The guy who created the line was working on it before the movie began the hunt for merchandizing. He had three prototypes with one being sci-fi, one a soldier, and the last a barbarian. Mattel chose the barbarian. He was, however, influence by Frazetta whose artwork was the visual influence for the film.

I'm still waiting on David Lynch's Pound Puppies adaptation.

They'd be in Manhattan one episode and then South America the next. Still, I loved that show. If they could at least do a comic book revival, I'd be happy.

The 90's were all about 70's nostalgia, so we're just going to get stuck in this horrible time loop.

Battle Cat should be shaking and pawing at that head piece like a cat with it's head stuck in a paper bag.

I grew up in the 80's but it was pretty much the same damn thing. When my brother and I would visit my grandfather, we would leave at about 8 or 9 in the morning and be gone all day. As far as my grandfather was concerned, it was simple math. Two of us left that morning. Two of us came back that afternoon.

I'm not a My Chemical Romance fan, but you're right. That book was great.

Aliens succeeds by not copying Alien too much. Cameron made an action movie with horror elements. He amped up the intensity and scope.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull proved that.
